Login Error: Error 301

Hello people of ESO forum,
It seems like i have the Login "Error: Error 301" error.
Things i tried to fix it:
  • Restarting router.
  • CMD line - ping Bethesda IP ( request timed out )
  • Restarting pc.
  • Repairing launcher
  • Launching game w/o launcher
  • Adding Bethesda IP to hosts file

I've tried all these things and i still get the 301 error message.
I would like to get a response of devs of ESO and not with this message :
We are aware that some players receive the error "Login Error: Error 301" when they attempt to log into The Elder Scrolls Online. We are currently working on resolving the issue, and we hope to have a fix soon.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

I would like to hear your thoughts about why this bug is here.
Not a standard message.

Edit:
Tried adding ESO + ESO launcher to firewall. - did not help
Flush DNS - did not help.

+ got a mail of stuff that did not help.

Greetings Traveler,

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. I understand you are experiencing error code 301, I will be more than willing to help you resolve this issue.

Please be aware that this issue can have different causes and solutions. First, please try the following:
Log in to your account on https://account.elderscrollsonline.com
Sign the new Terms of Service agreement.
Then, log back into the game.
If these steps don't solve your issue, it could be connection related. Please try the following:
Reboot router/modem
Connect your computer via cable (not wireless).
Additionally, if you haven't done so already, please ensure that you have added the "Bethesda_launcher", as well as "eso.exe" to your Antivirus/Firewall exception rules (if your PC does not have network security software, Windows often comes bundled with a simple one by default. Follow the same steps for it as well as Windows Firewall). In addition, you may want to check that your router has not blocked access through the following ports:
• TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
• TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
• TCP / UDP Ports 49100 through 54000
You can find out more about how to open ports for your router by consulting its documentation or researching the issue online.
You may wish to try a clean boot to disable background programs that could potentially be blocking the connection by following this procedure:
Click Start and type msconfig in the search box
Right click on the msconfig.exe program and choose "Run as administrator"
On the General Tab at the top, click on the Selective startup radio button
Uncheck "Load startup items"
Click on the Services tab and check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box
Click the "Disable all" button at the bottom
Click Apply, then click OK
Restart your computer
When your computer boots up again, it will be in selective startup. Try the game again, and see if you have different results. Once you have tried the game, if everything works fine, then one of the service or startup programs was causing the issues.
Once you have finished this troubleshooting, turn selective startup back off. This is done by opening the msconfig window again and selecting the Normal startup radio button. Click Apply, then click OK, and restart the computer again. For more detailed instructions on this process, visit the Microsoft support page here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Lastly, if all fails would you be so kind as to send us your host.developer log file (located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher)? We can use this to help troubleshoot your issue. I look forward to hearing from you soon, hopefully with good news that you are continuing your adventure in Tamriel.
Divines guide you, friend.

I sure hope these guys can help me more.

    Quoting ZOS help:
    1. Close out of all screens and return back to your desktop.
    2. Hold the Windows Key and press the letter R.
    3. Type in CMD
    4. Hold Ctrl and Shift and press Enter
    5. Type the following, "ipconfig /flushdns" and press enter. (Command Prompt may run a few lines of information)
    6. Type the following, "netsh winsock reset" and press enter. (Command Prompt may run a few lines of information)
    7. Type the following, "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" and press enter. (Command Prompt may run a few lines of information)
    8. Type the following, "ipconfig /release" and press enter. (Command Prompt may run a few lines of information)
    9. Type the following, "ipconfig /renew" and press enter. (Command Prompt may run a few lines of information)
    10. Close everything and restart the computer.

This will help you make sure that your computer is not causing the issue by having a bad DNS. Once this is resovled this can help you get back into the game. If it does not then we got a couple more steps to go through.

    1. Disable all game add-ons that you may have downloaded for the game.
    2. Navigate to your "My Documents" or "Documents" folder in the start menu.
    3. Delete the folder named "Elder Scrolls Online". This is a settings folder. It will repopulate when the game launches again.
    4. Navigate to the "C://" drive on your computer from "My Computer" or "Computer".
    - Open "Program Files (x86)"
    - Open "Zenimax Online"
    - Open "Launcher"
    - Delete the "Program Data" folder
    5. Close out of all screens and return back to your desktop.

Sadly enough this didn't fix it for me :(

My login timeout following 301 started last night with a Unknown error dropping me from the game.
    Ticket is in.
    Today I got a 304 once.
So hoping tomorrow will change something with the server reboot and patch.

    Edit 1:
The server reboot repaired the timeout&301 error. I'll just have to use /reloadui from time to time because of the esc button stops working, it's most likely an addon that causes that..

I'm still getting the 301 since yesterday. So far, I need to free days of game time. Come on Zenimax.... I wish they would have waited a bit longer....

Could this POSSIBLY be related to a Microsoft Windows Update? A Security patch, maybe? The time fits....

    Thread bookmarked..
