So, how about "Monthly Games"? ~Arena tournaments~

I understand that there is a lot of ppl that don't want to see arena's as they believe it will draw away from the Cyrodiil population. BUT-
How about an arena that is only active during one weekend a month, that hold some sort of tournament?

You sign up, and it matches you up against others. The winner advances, etc.

Somethin' to that effect.

I run DW, medium armor. So that's 1 less dress fight you have to watch.

But honestly... The derp-zerg that is Cyrodiil is cool and all, but I'd like a little 1v1 tournament action. Where we can see a leaderboard that atually means somethin. ^^

Met up with a bunch of AD last night and made a dueling arena. It was great...

Really made me think of how awesome it would be to have this type of tournament once per month.

Something like "Best of 5", winner moves on, loser goes home, kinda thing.

I would like the OPTION to go for a 1 vs 1, 5 vs 5, etc etc.
I love cyrodil too. but like i said....an OPTION for something else once in awhile would be nice.

They need to add arenas, ability ot play poker with other people in taverns. The ability to gamble as well.

This is a good idea. Having some small team arena type pvp avaiable at all times would indeed be quite likely to draw a lot of players away from Cyrodiil. But making these arena matches into monthly tournaments is a good way to go in my opinion. It caters to those who also like smaller scale pvp and provides a nice break from the usual pvp and also a new form of competitive gameplay.

So yes, I'd very much welcome a monthly pvp tournament/arena of sorts.

And that was just it, everyone that apposed small pvp options apposed it in the likely hood that it would draw from Cyrodiil. Which, it may. But by using my idea of once per month, it would certainly not harm Cyrodiil, while adding a break from the constant struggle of zergs known as Cyrodiil.
