I'm so tired of reading all the negative comments on the forums. Let me emphasize "NEGATIVE COMMENTS". I don't mind the critiques, the suggestions, the ideas, etc. But some of the "gamers here are subconciously "haters" of developers.
DEVELOPERS
- Most devs are not corporate suits, they are gamers themselves and I'm sure the almighty dollar hasn't corrupted them all. I think they are doing what they can, to make this game what we want it to be.
- Being a developer is not the equivalent to being GOD! They are human!
- ESO has done some GOOD THINGS so stop acting as if they haven't.
SOLO vs MMORPG
- ESO is designed to be and was advertised to be an MMORPG. That definition mean it is intended not only to allow multiple people to play but even more TO PLAY TOGETHER! All you folks who want ESO to cater to your SOLO desires need to go back to SKYRIM until ES-VI comes out. Being able to play solo can be a byproduct of the game but it is NOT the primary intent, so get over it!
PLAYERS
- There are people playing this game that are enjoying it (I've been in it since early beta)
- Anyone who bought ESO to get through it before the 30-day free subscription was over…. you're negative comments mean nothing.
WoW PLAYERS
Give it a rest. This isn't Pandaria!
ESO was designed to incorporate the lore and world of Elder Scrolls into a MMORPG format. I wonder how many of these HATERS have have ready a lore book, scroll, for for that matter listened to the dialogue of NPC instead of multi-clicking there way though a quest just so they can satisfy their thirst for killing something and achieve veteran rank in 2 weeks!
I've been playing EVE Online (which has been around for 11 years) for the past 3 years and its chocked full of issues. In fact they just did ANOTHER rebalancing but there are player there who endure the changes, repetitious quests, etc. and PAY THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION because when it comes down to it, they enjoy it and its worth it.
To sum it all up, if you're posting because you want to see ESO thrive, improve, and live up to it's claims more power to you. if you're that unhappy, angry, or overly frustrated with ESO, kick rocks, hit the road, move on, keep on trucking', etc!!! Find something that makes you happy (please, please, please do). Maybe drop out, come back in a year when the growing pains are over. Maybe some growth will happen on both sides!
