We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

I am soooo tired!

I'm so tired of reading all the negative comments on the forums. Let me emphasize "NEGATIVE COMMENTS". I don't mind the critiques, the suggestions, the ideas, etc. But some of the "gamers here are subconciously "haters" of developers.

DEVELOPERS
- Most devs are not corporate suits, they are gamers themselves and I'm sure the almighty dollar hasn't corrupted them all. I think they are doing what they can, to make this game what we want it to be.
- Being a developer is not the equivalent to being GOD! They are human!
- ESO has done some GOOD THINGS so stop acting as if they haven't.

SOLO vs MMORPG
- ESO is designed to be and was advertised to be an MMORPG. That definition mean it is intended not only to allow multiple people to play but even more TO PLAY TOGETHER! All you folks who want ESO to cater to your SOLO desires need to go back to SKYRIM until ES-VI comes out. Being able to play solo can be a byproduct of the game but it is NOT the primary intent, so get over it!

PLAYERS
- There are people playing this game that are enjoying it (I've been in it since early beta)
- Anyone who bought ESO to get through it before the 30-day free subscription was over…. you're negative comments mean nothing.

WoW PLAYERS
Give it a rest. This isn't Pandaria!

ESO was designed to incorporate the lore and world of Elder Scrolls into a MMORPG format. I wonder how many of these HATERS have have ready a lore book, scroll, for for that matter listened to the dialogue of NPC instead of multi-clicking there way though a quest just so they can satisfy their thirst for killing something and achieve veteran rank in 2 weeks!

I've been playing EVE Online (which has been around for 11 years) for the past 3 years and its chocked full of issues. In fact they just did ANOTHER rebalancing but there are player there who endure the changes, repetitious quests, etc. and PAY THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION because when it comes down to it, they enjoy it and its worth it.

To sum it all up, if you're posting because you want to see ESO thrive, improve, and live up to it's claims more power to you. if you're that unhappy, angry, or overly frustrated with ESO, kick rocks, hit the road, move on, keep on trucking', etc!!! Find something that makes you happy (please, please, please do). Maybe drop out, come back in a year when the growing pains are over. Maybe some growth will happen on both sides!

Irony. Soon followed by denial. Only 11 more steps until the OP completes the program.

Developers are gamers, unfortunately their managers are Suits, who do look at profitability and such like.

A lot of the threads are addressing actual problems, so of course they are negative. Now alot of these threads are over-emphaising the negative, but that's understandable if not condonable.

Like your complaining of the complainer add 1 constructive suggestion to the game.

I read a few lines of the OP, concluded this was a thread complaining about something, and then saved 15% on my car insurance with GEICO.

Actually they advertised it to be...

"One of the core philosophies of The Elder Scrolls Online is to allow you to play the way you want. You’ve probably heard us say it or experienced it for yourself: equip any weapon, wear any armor, choose from a myriad of skills, pick your role, make choices in quests, ignore certain quests and just explore, etc. The idea is that these choices tie you more to your character, and respect that you might want to play differently from one day to the next. Many times, I’ve heard people discuss how they like to solo, others like to “raid,” and another group likes to PvP, so we know gamers never fit into neat categories.

However, many people who have become attached to their character want to see how their character would perform in a variety of situations or game modes. This is part of the reason we don’t have PvP gear and PvE gear, and also the reason we embrace being able to pick and max out more than a handful of skills. We’ve tried to avoid the danger of compartmentalizing and labeling certain players by acknowledging that circumstances change for people day-to-day. On Monday you might feel like playing alone, and Tuesday you might feel like working with friends on a dungeon. Whatever your motivation, you should be able to go do the thing you want without a lot of barriers. "

mmh... the inside of the cage is too dreaded so the only thing anyone's in this business for is to snatch the grand coffer aboard and get the hell out fast...

On the contrary, you are not a developer if you do not think of yourself as GAWD!

Indeed, however you want to play, except if you want to solo, don't expect new content, because new content will all be 6 monsters in a group and ready to kick your asses.

Obviously there are plenty of folks who can't read.. LOL

    I REPEAT… I'm tired of NEGATIVE COMMENTS!
    - I'm not talking about a complaint. (crislevin)
    - I NEVER complained about complaining (NiRN).
    - Nothing ironic (Fuzzylumpkins)
    - Forums are to be read (andreas.rudroffb).. Rantings are for blogs!

All in good fun guys! (Don't get in a huff) :)
