    Cloaks would be really cool.

Just dont add capes :P , only cloaks.

If the whole player base made a move for it , i bet we would have it , which is highly unlikely , but possible.

cloaks are capes with hoods. only Batman is awesome enough to survive wearing capes. we do not need to see countless unnecessary deaths due to cape failures in eso. and before you ask the question"Why does only Batman get to wear capes?" i'll answer it for you. its because he's BATMAN!!!!!!

Actually many super heroes got capes , like superman and he doesnt fail either , because of his cape atleast :P.

Many cool charaters got cloaks in fantasy , which is the case here , fantasy, not reality , cloak is a item slot in D&D for example. A badass mage tossing magic probably wont lose because of his cloack of all things.

No, just no, sell your estrogen hormone therapy somewhere else please.

Why do they depict their Breton character statue wearing a cloak yet they deny us? He (Breton) looks so nice. It is just not right.

An extra armor slot to stack stats on?

Why not, if it makes you feel pretty by all means go ahead.

Just give me the option of not making it visible like helms.

Don't really need to stack another stat on it. just add it to work like the costume. Easy peasy.

That is a more reasonable response.

If we all thought more about how to add things others enjoy without disrupting the game much , example , capes could be costumes and dont even effect stats and im sure many other possibilities , we all would benefit in the end.

Giving more options , even more, options that dont directly interfere with others game , is usually a good thing.

WIth that said , im also to blame for sometimes not seeing how to do this or thinking some stuff that might could have been done is a bad idea and dismissing it.

I support this. Cloaks would be nice. They are in the artworks, CGI trailers and general lore, but not in the game.

This would actually work, yeah. Or the current costume would work.

We're not even talking super-skimpy outfits or anything, but like situation-specific stuff? You know, like.. Maybe rpers in the game want to wear something different in town? Or in general, your adventurer isn't ALWAYS going to be living in their armour (and if they are, hooohooo.. dat swamp bootay!) and presumably would wear something different occasionally.

We're talking about like.. some of the female NPCs have dresses, right? Why not make those available? Or the male NPCs have some more casual clothing, make those available to males.. or females too if cross-dressing is your thing, We're all inclusive.

Maybe make them only usable out of combat?

Doesn't make much sense to fight in a dress no matter how pretty it is.

Dunno, just seems like a nice fun little side feature they could add. Most MMOs do have cosmetic clothing that doesn't add any stats or anything, it only serves to 'pretty-fie' things.

Of course this could be the fact that We're female talking and We just like to dress our character up because WE FEEL SO FREAKING MAJESTIC WHEN WE DO. :#

I think cloaks would be cool. I agree with @pez8897nub19_ESO - making it a costume option would be best.

Well, I can not access their main page cause of their dumb age gate, that will not let input a new date...

Doesnt one of the main characters in their "box" art wear a hooded cape?
(a statue version of the one I am talking about)

Ha, he is also the in the background of the top right of the web/forums page.

A costume that added a cloak would be okay, just as long as it is not a new slot. If it is a new slot I would like a grab cape Interupt so I could yank people using them around. Also an ultimate where I pull their hood over their eyes, for immersion.

    Need
    1. a requirement, necessary duty, or obligation: There is no need for you to go there.
    2. a lack of something wanted or deemed necessary

    Want
    1. to feel a need or a desire for; wish for: to want one's dinner; always wanting something new.
    2. to wish, need, crave, demand, or desire

I'd like to hear the argument for cloaks being a necessity...

I'd go for it if they gave us an option to disable seeing cloaks on anyone in game. That way if people want to dress up in cloaks I'll never see them.

I say we replace the current light armor shoulder graphic, which seems out of place to me to begin with, with this cloak request.

If your mixing armors and don't want to have a cloak, don't have your shoulders be light.

It seems like the best solution to me
