Compensation!

Just wondering how does Zemixmax intend on compensating All of us who are paying these subscription fees like everyone else yet we are unable to progress through the game? for example myself and may others cannot go to the 3rd faction zones because we are stuck in Bangkorai unable to finish Evermore and unlock the next hub and finish cadwells quest and move on. I would like to know when this is to be fixed and what we are going to be compensated with.

they way zenimax is handling things it would be more like a year

My suggestion is that if sitting for less than a month "or more?" for 15$ is a big deal, you should spend less time on the game anyways and more time looking through the want adds for a better job.

Have you leveled other characters? Have you leveled all the crafts?

Honestly, assuming you aren't exaggerating and you really have don't everything you possibly can.. and there's nothing left that you want to do in the game, save for the stuff that is blocked for you.. then I'd cancel the sub. If it's for a couple months, cool.. if it's for a year, then so be it. Money saved for you, right? They don't really owe you anything.. you're choosing to sub when you could otherwise cancel and save the $15. Complaining on the forum isn't going to get anyone compensation, they certainly can't discuss your account through a forum post.. and not everyone is getting hit by the same bug so doing blanket compensation isn't really warranted here.

Seems backwards, at least to me, to choose to pay for something knowing that you can't do anything with the something.. and then turning around and saying you deserve compensation for it.

Yeah, it sucks when things are broke.. yes they should fix it. However, one thread on the forum isn't going to change the fact that it's broken now, nor is it going to cause them to dish out compensation if they weren't already planning to. Best thing to do if you're truly unsatisfied with any product is to vote with your wallet. Money tends to talk best.

you can't just cancel your sub if you buy a month of game time they got you for 2 months so even if i canceled my sub right this second id still have to pay for next month and would still have time on my account XD so yes they do owe us something anything for wasted time and money.

If you cancel right now, they wont charge you for next month. This has been confirmed, language in TOS aside.

My suggestion is that you learn that some people want value for their dollar, regardless of how many they have.

If you cancel right now, you don't get billed for another month. The only way you get billed for multiple months at a time is if you made the choice to do so. They have some weird deal where when you first sign up for a sub they do an authorization charge for 14.99 plus the 14.99 for the sub.. but the authorization thing gets taken down and the bank releases the money after a few days.

Not defending Zenimax at all. I'm saying if you're unhappy, quit paying for it. Don't continue to pay for it and then say you want compensation because you made that choice.

Heck, even if I think you should deserve compensation for the time you paid for prior to knowing it was an issue.. the forums would still not be the place to ask for said compensation. Not everyone is having an issue that blocks them out of the game entirely, so mass compensation is not warranted. If you feel your individual account warrants compensation, or isn't worth your money, then the best thing to do is either contact customer service (as horrid as I know that can be) so they can look at your individual account, or to stop paying for the service.

im not asking for the compensation here im merely making a post to 1 get their attention. 2 see if i can't find more people in this situation make it more publicly know etc. And im not looking for a $ compensation as compensation can be anything from $ to a free in game pet for example, I think the best compensation for the people who can't log in and the people who cannot progress through the game due to glitches and bugs in the system that should have been worked out in beta....the best compensation would be a few days of free game time as a sorry for the inconvenience.

I just did. I'm awaiting response. This is in response to getting the Error 301 bug for the second time. The first time, I was unable to login for three days. All they did was tell me to sign a non-existant TOS and restart my router. Then suddenly I was able to log in one day (because they finally fixed the problem on their end).

After all that, I was forgiving. Played the game, enjoyed it.

Now I'm back on Error 301. I want my *** time back. This is inexcusable. I'm not paying them to ignore my unable-to-even-use-this-service problems.

Honestly, if the OP has done EVERYTHING in the game, possible done everything he feels worth doing. why doesn't he just walk away for a couple months.

Losing out on perceived potential enjoyment sucks. believe me I know, in this game I suffer from the Mac memory bleed bug. which prevents me from large-scale PvP. the only reason I bought this game. (And if you get into it, I also bought a new computer because of this game) Am I demanding compensation? No I'm doing other stuff and biding my time. If they never fix it then I'm a moron for buying this game and a computer, and a victim of successful branding and marketing. Does that make Zenimax the enemy? do I deserve compensation? No, worst case scenario I'm an idiot and can cancel my Sub at any time.

btw I also signed a ToS. Good thing all those demanding compensation did the same, even if they didn't read it.

I am stuck at Evermore unable to continue I want to go to AD the 3rd faction and continue the lvl up I have done every quest that I have available to me I need to finish evermore to unlock the next hub in Bangkorai

Yea, a Bug riddled game is pretty much par for the course with Bethsada for 6 months. You guys remember Oblivion or Skyrim when they first came out?

its because they make such f'n killer games that we keep coming back like Johns to a talented ***.

honestly I'd just cancel sub for a couple months, they'll polish it eventually.

.....and if we actually want to play the game and hang out with friends vs quitting...NO game regardless of free to play or not quitting should not be a fix for anything, in fact if EVERYONE just quit cut off their subs this game would die...that is not what we want but at the same time we need to get these glitches and bugs fixed and for all the inconvenience those who have been put out should get something back a way to show that they are sorry and the appreciate our subs and having us want to play their game.
