I found a imperial motif in Mornholm, first rare motif I found, but I think they are rare as few sell them compared to other.

purple V5 food and drink recipes are legendary indeed, interesting to see how much they will sell for, more so as you can make money with them.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

This. I've found dozens of blue recipes, even two Imperial motifs, but I've yet to find a purple recipe and have only seen it for sale twice with the buyers requesting 100k-200k.

lol there are plenty of people wearing emperor armor sets now... purple recipes and imperial motifs are rarer imo. I don't go a day in Craglorn without seeing people in emperor armor (I saw 3 different former emperor/empress within 5mins yesterday btw), but I do go without seeing people selling vr5 purple recipes or imperial motifs. Luckily, I have every single motif in my own collection. :) I found a purple drink recipe vr5 and sold it... I don't use them but I will use a food one if/when I find one. But several of those provisioning items are definitely extremely rare. I too have found tomatoes though --- so it can't just be from hirelings -- then again it's been weeks since I have found one.

You will see lots of people WTB purple recipes and imperial motifs... I have found a few daedric without tons of farming, yet the only Imperial that I had my hands on, I used myself. Just incase I want to craft something for someone who doesn't have it.. and also to complete my collection!

Asked a few pages back, may have gotten buried.

    The sets listed here:
    http://esohead.com/itemsets

Can you find these all at vr12? Or are some only found at lower levels? Or... Are some only available through crafting????

The only players you would be trading Imperial motif gear to are the regular edition players. I think Imperial edition players still outnumber the regular edition players. Certainly IE did outnumber the regulars at launch if the white stallions mounts in the low level zones was any indication.

Well I'm not where I can get in game to check, but I don't think you can convert to Imperial on characters that aren't Imperial race, even if they're on an IE account. Apologies if I'm wrong. I only have one Imperial out of 7 characters myself.
I'm imperial edition, and yes you can. My Kajit NBis currently wearing converted Imperial armor, because I crafted her Orc style just to try it out, and hated it.

So yes, Imperial edition players, all races all characters and all levels can be converted to Imperial style. I have found a few items that wouldn't convert, all unique quest rewards. As far as I am able to tell, all crafted and dropped items, and most quest rewards, can be converted.

Dropped set gear (ie. dragon guard, warlock, worm cult) cannot be changed to imperial style.

The mere fact that I have oats and tomatoes in my possession makes it not suitable for this thread. Got about 10 of each.

The v5 recipes seem like the clear winner.

Medium armour as a reward for playing in cyrodil. I only ever get light and heavy. Should I take the hint?

This tomatoes thing is going too far.

Yeah, I'm a provisioner, and I've had people tell me they sell for anywhere from 100-200K. The worst part is, they aren't even very good. Yes, purple recipes improve three stats instead of two, but for much less of a boost (at least in relation to their cost).

Completely agree. I'd rather use the blue and buff two stats for higher amounts, because really what most of us need is to fill in the gaps. If you're built right and have points allocated mostly to health, I think the magicka+stamina foods work the best. You get the most value from your attribute points that way, so I think it's a good idea to extra buff two stats rather than mediocre buff all 3. If that makes sense.
