Intricate

Does anyone know exactly how the Intricate Trait works? Is it a full return? Is it diminishing returns? Does it stack? Is only the highest trait work if more than one item is used?

You can't use it on your own armor.

It only comes on dropped items and you can't learn it. One time use ...

I knew that, thank you though. I want to know how the math works and what kind of returns it is supposed to give.

You don't wear it, you deconstruct it. No stacking or anything. Just deconstruct and it gives more crafting xp than a regular dropped item. Though I believe still less xp than items made by another character.

Interesting: I didn't realized items made by other characters gave more experience. I'm assuming that items made by alt characters of yours don't work that way ...

No, they removed that functionality. Has to be made by another account.

When i first started, i religiously gathered pieces of intricate equipment to wear whilst deconstructing things as i thought it gave it's bonus in that fashion. It was only until i asked in guild chat that i leaned its true purpose. :confounded:

If true, nice way to punish solo players :\

Opinions are like buttholes : Everybody has one, and they usually stink.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

I'm hoping someday MMO's will stop designing their games around "solo" players. Otherwise, we can just create a new MSO genre.

For about a week I kept a full set and put it on every time I crafted because I thought it buffed all crafting :P

Yea. The tooltip is not as clear as it could be. I thought these pieces were for enchanting, since it is the only craft that uses the term "extract".
