I need to report an impossible quest

Kings of the Grotto needs to be fixed. There is absolutely no way even a group of six Lv 25+ players can fight 50 boss-like enemies in that cave at one time. Like, seriously??? We either need a patch to massively weaken the enemies or assign groups of 12 elite players at Lv. 50 to complete the single hardest quest in video game history.

I dunno man, finishing that chocobo race in FFX under 0.0 seconds cost me 3 or 4 controllers.

Um. Maybe you need to actually try using the combat mechanics given to you?

I'll admit it is hard, but my GF and I did it with 2 level 30's... even though it's a level 12-14 quest...

I'm at Level 25. I tried using a high-powered two-handed mace, magic spells, and decent armor. What do I need to possibly make it through that dungeon at Lv. 50, if possible? I'll try to recruit a large veteran group just for this quest.

    Hold on.

Are you complaining that you can't solo a group dungeon?

I have yet to encounter anything that can't be done within 2 levels of the NPC's. This is group and solo. I'm level 37-39 Redguard Templar

It sounds like you have gotten away from strategy.
Food buffs, spell/ability selections, weapon and armor selection all matter.

You will not be able to finish all encounters with the same setup so balance your character out.

My Templar has a heavy set and a light set
    Staff and sword and shield.
The skills in some encounters use a lot of knockdown/knock back and then swapping to ranged attack.

If a NPC is melee keep them off ur body. If a caster, keep them interrupted, if ranged, keep them close.

Casters and healers must die first.
Anything that hits u and takes more than 25% of life per hit. Block, dodge, strafe.
If you do not have healing spells, get a healing staff and choose a skill

Northpoint Liberation, in Rivenspire needs fixed too, MANY can't complete it. You have to find two groups of soldiers to rescue and one of those groups is bugged. A lot of frustrated players are struggling to complete it, trying to shoot the group of soldiers and cast spells on them in frustration lol

Pretty sure I solo'd that around level 38 or so. Pre-inhale/shield bash nerf though. Not sure I'd be able to do it again at that level.

The real dilemma is that; Powdered doughnuts are overpowdered, the chocolate doughnuts are too chocolaty, and the coconut crunch doughnuts have more coconut than all other doughnuts. This is OUTRAGEOUSLY unfair to other doughnuts!

So from now on, all you special snowflakes get is nasty plain doughnuts...enjoy!

Are we talking about the level 12-15 dungeon here? If so..my God. A group of 4 level 12 can do it easily.

Maybe he's new to MMOs and didn't know what a group dungeon was?

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt OP.

Go back there with 3 of your buddies. Have someone explain to you what Tank, DPS, and Healing is.

    You'll find Fungal quite easy.

I soloed that one a few days ago with a level 38 DK (with a definitely non-optimal build) when I realized that I hadn't gotten around to getting a group together for it back when I was the appropriate level. It was slightly harder to solo than Banished Cells was (again, I hadn't gotten around to doing that one with a group when I was the right level), but I was still able to solo it pretty easily. The only fight that gave me any trouble at all was the one with the goblin king.

So yeah, a group of 4 at level 12-16 should be able to do it. If you're level 25, you should be able to do it with 1 more at the same level as you. I did it solo at level 38. It's very definitely not an impossible dungeon.

Good to know it can still be done at that level. I did it before my fire-mage days. Then I wised up and realized this game isn't meant to played with heavy armor and stam skills. ;)

Me and a couple people I grouped with did that quest and it wasn't that hard. If you tried soloing it I recommend you go back with a group and you should be fine. :)
