I agree... having learned the ropes and means to craft stuff makes them a tad quicker to level.Subsequent characters are faster to level. Im working on 3 and 4 atm.
Yes, I have noticed that those who have yet to experience veteran levels have a better opinion of the game.

I *have* experienced them and they suck enough to me that I cant be assed to bother with something not fun.
Problem is, that means Im locked out of new content until I pick up the ball and leave, or pull up the big boy pants and just deal with the misery.

People will take the path of least resistance. Doesn't make them wrong. Some people simply don't care about stories or lore or quests. They simply want to get to top level to compete in PvP. And there's nothing wrong with that, either.
Not directed at the people in this thread in particular but I've never seen more rank sanctimony on the part of people whining about how other people level or play a game in general till I started playing ESO. And the way people throw around terms like "abuse" and "exploit" because someone opted to grind mobs instead of quests isnt just false, its obnoxious.
Play they game the way you enjoy and let others do the same. The vast majority of negatity and complaints on these forums are about bugs and class/build imbalances which are entirely valid complaints.

I get that and I believe the same thing. If someone got to vr10 in a few days from exploiting something but they are having fun then by all means enjoy. What I'm referring to here is the ones that hit max level,,skipped the whole mest of the game and say the game lacks this or that. How would they know? They didn't actually play it. All I can go by is what I have experienced and I know in order to really form an opinion on game you must play what the developers gave you. You can't skip it. It's eating a Oreo cookie but throwing out the filling and then saying Oreos suck. Well ya of course they are gonna suck without the filling.
