Visiting an enemy alliance territory

Is it possible, for example whit a breton, to visit ebonheart pact territory?

Not until you are a veteran.. And the rest is spoilers.

If you are owner of an Imperial (?) Edition version of the game you can create any race and let your character join any alliance. But what Enkil was hinting at is: E.g. Daggerfall Covenanters can only go to the Ebonheart Pact after they became Vets.

Enkil and Menelaos are (mostly) correct on this (it's the Explorer Pack version of the game that lets you create any race in any faction).

To add to what they've said: you can also visit group dungeons in the territory of the other factions before you're at veteran level. You just need to be a member of the Undaunted to get them on your map as places you can fast travel to. It should also be noted that you can't exit the dungeon and start exploring the other faction's territory. On leaving the dungeon you teleport back to where you fast traveled from to get to the dungeon.

You can visit their areas if you reach veteran

Incorrect. I have Imperial version and can not choose any race with any faction.

I can only create Imperial race with any faction.

I think you need to buy Explorer pack to be able to create any race with any faction.

Can you buy the explorer pack? Thought it was pre order only.

I have the Imperial Edition. I can be any race in any faction. I have a High Elf in EP, Breton in AD, and other mixed faction/race toons.

It was. Anyone who pre-ordered (or who buys a physical copy of the game from a retailer that got it as a pre-order) gets the Explorer Pack codes. The Imperial Edition does not give you the ability to play any race in any faction unless you got it as a pre-order (in which case you got the Explorer Pack codes with it).

So in short, you can't currently buy the ability to be any race in any faction. At least, not unless you happen to buy a pre-ordered physical edition of the game from a retailer that still has one.

Yeah, I can put cats anywhere I like, because I pre-ordered (and only got the normal version).

I think it was just a temporary thing, to allow for the existence of defectors (which should exist, but only as minorities.)

That's NOT because you have the Imperial Edition, it's because you have the EXPLORER PACK because you pre-ordered.

Stop misinforming people due to your ignorance.

Lol so harsh. If he didn't know it obviously wasn't intentional.
