Ok the launcher hasn't worked for months but since last patch none of the work arounds work so cant patch the game yeha....and still freezing my machine up till last night.......this started happening in beta and has never been fixed...........at least get the launcher fixed guys this is beyond rediculous

The only thing that works for me is to reset my Internet options under the advanced tab. Then if it doesn't load properly, I right click on the tab in the task bar and click close. Funnily enough this gets the launcher through to checking for updates and then stalls in Initializing.
I then have to close the launcher via the task manager. Then I start up the launcher again and usually works first go.
I must say this is getting tiresome having to go through this ritual but seems to work everytime.
