I had a guild member (on a different faction) ask me to test if his winged twilight was visible when he went into stealth during PvP. The winged twilight did remain visible and revealed his current location.
The concern is that for most players engaging in PvP, stealth is a major advantage and necessity. If summoned pets remain visible, then the player must dismiss their pet or their current location will be revealed, and the location of other alliance members around them. This makes the use of a summoned pet a hindrance.
Is it by design for summoned pets to remain visible and reveal the players current location? Was the design meant that the player had to choose: Either a summoned pet or stealth? A player could always stealth without the pet, then prior to starting combat they would need to summon their pet, wasting valuable time and magicka.
Also, his concern was that he would not only need to give up the pet based on its current hindrance while in stealth, but that all the skill points spent in the summoning passive abilities were also wasted.
