    Purge, barrier, rapid maneuver? Sounds like a lot of counters to me.

    They're not too effective on people hauled up in resource towers or the main flag rooms of keeps though. Not without mass losses to little risk of the defenders.

    I'm fine with oil being powerful but I do wonder if ZOS really had in mind it being used on the floor inside rooms as a powerful tactics to stop groups entering.

    Had the bugged merc chasing me all over today and just left pvp.

    I also had the mass oil powerful mentioned above. We holed up in a keep and the medium force outside could not oust us. We got bored and snuck away. I'm not sure it needs a fix till I see more of what goes on.

    The bugged merc should have been fixed right away or just removed. It's annoying!

    May I suggest that you temporarily disable them?

    I've been in at least four keep sieges that last many times longer than normal because there are three or four (yes, only 3 or 4) people TOTAL inside and they continuously drop mages. When you enter a wall breach, you'll get hit by a dozen mage teleport thunder abilities, effectively one-shotting you on the spot.

    The only real counter is for your group to endlessly spam bubbles and heals until you hopefully manage to capture the flags and spawn your own friendly NPCs.

    Yes fix or disable. This is one of those bugs that should be worked on quickly.

    What's the point of having 500 mercenaries in a resource camp or 1000 mercenaries inside a keep?? Shouldn't the standard spawning mobs just be adjusted in more locations (because right now they are just still randomly placed). Trying to siege a keep right now is just boring with the hour long PVE grind getting through the mercs.... Even still they can just be continuously placed and drawing out the siege to countless hours. I mean seriously.... Do we need this much depth to be added to PVP?

    This is being exploited on a grand scale. (Along with the oil 'thing').

    I actually got bored with trying to take a keep today because the half-a-dozen people inside were spamming caltrops and mercenaries together. It was impossible to enter the flag room to actually fight players and siege equipment had no effect.
    It went on for half-an-hour or more and was still going when I logged off.

    For me that's not PvP.
    'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.
