Standard of Might: Reduced the damage bonus and damage reduction of this ability.

    too late, too late... this nerf had to be done at least a month ago, sorcerers and DK have ruined the game, right nerf but... too late.

    yes, a bit.

    Standard was a strong ability, I am in no way able to judge if it was overpowered in PVE. In PVP, I have some more experience and it was over proportionally used especially to conquer flags at keeps. I like ability choices so I guess it is a good change.

    Clear numbers are not given, so hard to say what exactly has changed.

    This was a LOOONG time coming and is well DESERVED.
    Next Bolt escape. And we'll be all good.
    No ONE person should be able to stun so many people just by "moving" thru them-__-

    Not trying to troll but honest question. Sorcs have had the majority of the Emperorships for a long time. They have some builds every bit as strong as any DK build yet it is DK that gets every nerf. Yes Standard was strong but guess what? It was hella easy to roll dodge out of...

    Just wait for a NordJutsu to come in and say Sorcs have most Emperors because they are most skilled. Every DK is OP yet with Sorcs its all L2P. :/

    Sorcs are funny because i honestly do not see them as OP. They seem to be the most versatile class out of all of them, but the one complaint is that darned Bolt Escape. Other then that, I have heard no other complaints of any of the other abilities they posses. If im playing and a sorc in PvP starts to bolt escape, i let him go and dnt even chase. Honestly its not that big aof a deal. If i ever catch a cloth wearing Sorc while he is trying to escape, he dies. Very squishy. I dont think i ever met a heavy armor sorc.

    I agree that they are not OP but I didn't think Standard of Might was OP either.

    Bolt Escape, to me, is just not in line anymore with their recent changes (Elusive Mist speed reduction and cost increase), myriad other changes that mostly affected slow melee builds, etc.

    Sorcs can put out massive ranged DPS AND they have low cost escape ability while a lot of other skills have gotten nerfed, Mundus Steed doesn't work properly and waiting 2-5 minutes to mount after combat is either bugged or was never designed properly.

    If Elusive Mist was back at original 45%, if Mundus Stones worked correctly and if we could mount without having to run halfway from keep to keep to "leave combat' then I would say BE is fine as is. But the pattern here seems to be toning a whole lot of skills (while leaving others borked and broken like Werewolf).

    If that is the case, then BE should be brought in line with the other tweaks. If Talons needed the range reduced, Standard needed this reduction, Elusive Mist needed to cost a helluva lot more mana for only 30% speed, Biting abs needed delay, NB get their ulti generation nerfed, then yes BE needs to be adjusted accordingly, probably just a cost increase and 1 second delay would be fine for it to work how its intended.

    DK still doing fine even without standard spamming. If anything this is a PVE Fix.

    let´s see, according to you, we need bound armor (does nothing but 700-850 AC), bolt escape (does nothing but 20m teleport), critical surge (does nothing but a buff), magelight (does some stealth detect and gives uns som crit) on our bar

    how do we damage you ?

    with a 3 second cast time crystal shard for 700-900 dmg (that can easily be blocked/dodged) or with a 300 dmg impuls ?

    So prevent them from stacking,or increase the amount need to use it, nerfing it because two of more can use it at the same time would be like reducing the damage on your weapon for the same reason.

    I've only ever used mine as a last resort, but now i can see its useless.

    On a good size pack I could get three standards down on a single pull....

    They nerfed AoE ult generation....
    They nerfed the standard....

    They still never touched the Ult that allows DK's to solo ALL Content. (well minus a few bosses here and there)....Corrosive Armor. They also have not touched any of the other weapons (boosted sta builds), and the Light Armor/staff synergy is still the best in the game. You will continue to watch DK's wipe out zones and entire raids zerged against them in PvP.

    Zenimax doesn't even know their own game. Standard was nice for a group, and mainly used in events it would benefit everyone.....How often does a DK require a group? I'll check back in a month when the other classes are worth a damn so I can roll an alt and get away from the boring ass DK's.....if the other classes ARE ever worth a damn.

    Whoops, they apparently did do something to Magma armor....guess I will have to check out the specifics first before commenting.

    I see the nerf...and it's 3 fold. Reduced the duration on magma armor, reduced the standard by 20% and 10% on the effects....but the one that hurts EVERYONE, the nerf to crit ult generation. Yeah, that one hit DK's pretty hard, but it is going to further hurt NB's as well...

    Again, a shining performance from the morons at ZoS.

    No im saying if your going too be using magic light amour is going too be better over all., If your going too tank light amour is going too be better over all because of Bound amour, now if your going too be melee scorc your going too want medium amour with bound armaments If you want some durability. Now if you want too be a glass cannon i have no idea not my play style.

    that wouldn't be a bad idea! Why dont you submit feed back. i dont play DK so i dont know what the challenges there are for that class. I just knew something needed too be done too make it better balanced

    Glad I jumped the DK ship a while ago. It's going to be sad seeing the class nerfed in all the wrong ways for all the wrong reasons until it's not even used anymore. Some dumb people will say this is some form of justice until their class, which is now overpowered by comparison, is on the chopping blocks.

    It went from 35% dmg increase/decrease to 20%. Far from useless and you still do tons of AOE dmg with the standard itself.

    If you reduce the "whpping boy class" which is the DK atm to the point that noone wants to play, who do you think will eventually be next on the list? At this rate the devs have proven 1 thing. Its easier to nerf a class into oblivion than to fix it. SOOO for all you NB's out there, keep it up! The circle is and will come back to you. ZoS needs to learn to boost the classes that are weak and not nerf classes that seem to work. If people are bitching that DK's are rolling PvE content, thats because the PvE content wasnt tested enough...PERIOD, if it was things like this would have been observed. It all boils down to work, it is easier for them to nerf because think of a world where all classes were as powerful as the original DK. Boy that would require ZoS to get off their asses and strengthen the game rather than weaken the classes around the current game.
    Just a spoonful of moon sugar helps the medicine go down.

    I just wish that when they keep taking with one hand they give a little something back with the other.

    Buff up obsidian shield, lava whip, stone fist, petrify whatever. When you've taken away all the good things DKs had going, you're supposed to throw them a bone in another area.

    They don't have any serious single-target dps, executes or range. What they had going was awesome CC and AoE - now not so much.

    That Ult is tough, I hope its not nerfed but seeing as I have two other classes I hope they're ultimates are buffed, sad to see the DK one get a nerf.
