Maintenance for the week of October 5:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – October 8, 8:00AM EDT (12:00 UTC) – 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)
Wow, 5 hours, that does suck. Im still making my way to 50 before I get serious on pvp. Here. But I dont think I would even go out if the rollbacks were that large in time span.... 5 hours is alot
Rollbacks are the last line of defense before server crash.
If they did not roll back the data, the server would go down for everyone and might need half an hour maintenance just to clean up the mess. And we would not be able to keep the progress either way. It is the lesser of two evils.
Please asume that they are not doing this to ruin your game experience. Rollbacks and downtimes happen because they are unavoidable and I asume they are working to fix those issues as fast as feasible.
If you think anything I or somebody else said violates the Rules of this Forum, you are free to flag my posts. Till I get any notifcaion from this, I just asume you know you have no case against me or Zenimax disagrees with you.
Yes this does suck. I lost a good amount of Vet points and AP a few times now. I hope today's patch fixes the latency because this lag has been the worst since launch. I can deal with a little lag, but lately it has been horrendous.
Just saying. All that work for nothing. Like 5 hrs progress lost!
Is that true? That pisses me off just hearing about it. 5 hours lost of pvp is like a day's long play. All gone. Nothing pisses me off more than losing/wasting my leisure time.

I highly doubt that, I was PvP'ing for about 4 hours and I lost about, 10 minutes from rollbacks, but I'm sure people would exaggerate 10 minutes loss of play into 2 hours
I was there since early morning my time. About 2 hrs in we took a blue scroll. 5 hrs later it rolled back to a point before that scroll was taken. Someone that had all that contribution erased claimed an uninstall was due and quit. I don't know how much longer before the scroll was taken it rolled back to, but it was THE significant portion of their days effort.
