Hard Crash, appears the Sound

This just started Wednesday, May 28.
Up until above date, game has been playing fine on this PC, no changes have been made to PC OS and drivers that I am aware of ...a LOUD and gawd awful sound, then Hard Crash, blue screen dump to log, PC reboots.

In a 8 hour game period, I can expect 3 or more of these crashes.

Updated sound driver, still crashing, turning off sound device fixes crashing issue ...that or chance trashing the PC.

Can sound be turned off within the game ? rather do that than disabling the sound device.

    Hello @Sirropo,

Have you tried a repair already ? A sound file can be not well installed.

You can also turn off the sound via the settings options just before log in.

I have the same problem, although far less frequently. I find a restart of windows keeps it away for a few days. Occasionally I manage to get an ESO crash report first before a complete meltdown and it always blames the graphics card which is the same as the OP as is the OS and sound device. One thing that happens is I lose the mouse and kb too, and they don't start working in bios during the restart until I load windows again. Same sound warning before carnage. Not always blue screen. Date of the start of this problem would be around the same time.

I'am also having crashes that seem to be related to sounds and music. Disabling music reduced the frequency a bit, but still the game crashes every few hours.
My hardware is completely different compared to Op's gear. Peak memory usage doesn't exced 2.7 GB.

Edid: I tried repairing and even reistalling the game and whole OS didn't help. Problems stared around the date quoted by Op.
