Has there been any word on cosmetic clothing in the future?

The ability to wear cosmetic-only clothing that shows instead of your armor, like in other MMOs, would be nice. I think.

Have the devs mentioned it at all anywhere? I know it would be a while coming, but still--just wondering if it's on the horizon. Anyone hear anything on the subject?

With all the different (and wasted) armor looks in ESO, it seems like such a noob *** move not to have the ability to wear a visual set over armor set.

Thank you for Beta Testing Elder Scrolls Online for the upcoming Console release.

You can already get some cosmetic stuff. The disguises. Some of them are very nice compared to light or medium armour.

Well, yeah... I guess. More thinking NPC's who sell all sorts of visual-only clothing you can wear, piece by piece. With the ability to dye them. And--eventually at least, "wardrobe slots" that let you quickly switch between them.

It might be considered "fluff" but I've yet to see an MMO that has this where it's not a loved an much, much used feature.

I would love to know the devs' plans on this as well. I'm sure they must've commented on it somewhere.

I haven't seen them say anything in any stuff I've read. But--surely somebody's asked about it and gotten some kind of response. Somewhere?

I wish they had an option to cosmetic each item without having to re-craft the gear :/

Lotro did a good job of this. Could hide any piece and equip anything cosmetically.
