Changes to Character Creation Screen

Instead of the 'veteran' and 'novice' armor options, please give us the ability to see heavy, medium and light armor options when creating our characters, as well as pick a variety of weapons, which we are then 'gifted' with in the lockbox on exiting coldharbor.

Would help with character generation, and alleviate many assumptions players are making on the roles of various character classes.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    I really like this idea.

Would be a nice option. Last time I checked they had not updated it with the latest changes in armor color either.

Also change the bit saying that nightblades make excellent solo characters. Useless would be a better word, but challenging would be a reasonable euphemism.

Put them all in cloth and with a staff. That would make sure new players know the deal.

As a nice trick, the 'default' option could be whatever is used most at that time by the other players.

So if the majority of players who play nightblades do so with light armor and destruction staff, then when you create a brand-new nightblade that should be what your character spawns with.

Would be neat to see what the trends are.

This should be filed under, "Who cares."

Not trolling. But these things would only be effective for 5 minutes of your characters life.

I honestly disagree. As a player who is fairly adamant about the improvement in his class (nightblade), the number of references I see to character creation and how that defines many peoples conception of the class is high.

I never let the armor my starter character wear define what I was going to do. But there are players out there who do.
