WoW lets you suspend and resume your sub. You should ask CS if eso allows you this option. If they do, great. If they don't, perhaps if a lot of people ask for this option, ZOS will implement it.1 -

I think you misunderstood the post you quoted. Of course they will not delete your characters if your subs lapses into unpaid status. What welifeboil was referring to, is that you can have 40 days of game time left on your sub, suspend it therefore holding on to those 40 days, and resume it at a later time. With the current model, those 40 days will continue to tick away whether you cancel your subscription or not.You earned the 500 LOLs badge.

So.. what's viable? I get invited to VR12 groups for runs, I'm VR7, as a melee dual wield NB over other players online who are Sorcs/DK's other NB's etc.. to fill the DPS role. Not saying a particular guild is #1 and right... but they're making a conscious decision based on my performance to pick me over other viable dps builds. Melee builds ARE viable, instead of finding ways to make it work for you as a player you jump on the QQ train.
Maybe you're talking about PvE solo content though? Cause I haven't run into a single quest yet that I haven't been able to handle. I don't need to compare it to how easy/hard it is for other classes, it was something I could handle with a few deaths here n there which is expected.
Or maybe you're talking about PvP Cyrodiil? Unfortunately I can't comment there because I haven't jumped in since VR1, but I'm sure there are others who would be happy to share what they use as melee chars.
Really, this is just a rant thread and the OP has no argument. Maybe if you bother to update your original post with meaningful information others will try to help you out.

For the 40 day question, i think i read it yesterday on the forums that someone contacted with support to freze the time left on their account but answer was negative.0 -

It's not cancelling your sub. It's suspending your account until you choose to resume playing. So if you had a three month sub and wanted to take a break but still had two months left, suspending the account would freeze the sub at that point. They still have your money but at least you don't feel like you are getting ripped off when you are on a long vacation or something like that.0 -

NasoloxSoul Shriven8 days on mine...and i am just level 26 on my DK. I like the story and the combat system. After looking through the forums and this lastest patch was so mess up which cause my DK got stuck for 2 days in Loading limbo. Just lack of trust in this company to make a good game is the reason I am out and maybe I will come back once Zenimax has its big boy pants on!
