Put short skirt ala kilt (like Bosmer at low level) for high level clothing, tired of long robes

As per title, ZoS, please add a style with short skirt for light armor wearer also at high levels (included VR). Do not force people to wear long skirts, they are horrible. Put something like Mannimarco's armor or Bosmer Homespun robes. Please.

I'd like this too. Make 3 options for light armor - Jerkins, Skirts, and Robes

But just so we're clear, only on female characters.

Argonians and Khajiit need not apply.

Yea, there's a few items like that. Example: for males, I have a hard time finding chest pieces without sleeves at high levels. My dude would look amazing sleeveless, but the options are very limited the higher I go. It's unfortunate. :(

You mean something like this short skirt? It was a miraculous outfit. She never got cold even in the snowstorms and never chafed no matter what she did.

Maybe they should do that for the entire bosmer line.

The whole point of bosmer armour is to retain dexterity for tree climbing. Khajiit and Argonian may have open-top shoes but they still have full sandals. Bosmer leave the pads of their toes exposed also.

Seems weird to screw up that dexterity and fidelity by wearing a tube.

Id rather zos give us option to increase items level so we can make all styles vr14 (vr16). Its a shame in order to have best armor stats we need to give up opinions & aesthetics.

Just do for cloth pants what they did with robes/jerkins.

When crafting, give a choice between Pants or Skirt/Kilt.

One of my favorite things about ES: Morrowind was being able to throw a piece of heavy armor over a robe. Made for an awesome armored mage look. Being able to craft a cloth skirt (even for a male character) would allow for a similar aesthetic.

Personally I'd love it if the game gave you more options... and kilts would work very well in several crafting styles, be it Imperial for the graeco-roman feeling, or Nord for a highlander experience... ;-)

Not to nitpick too heavily, but Morrowind wouldn't let you do that. Robes always went over your armor. You could throw armor over a shirt and skirt though, and end up looking really badass that way.

Agreed, there should be varying lengths of robes and skirts, and not for the sake of eye-candy. There are plenty of practical non-long skirts for warriors. I end up using the coat and tails lootable NPC clothing with a lot of my armor....so that just proves we need variety in the skirt section.

definately should add more kilt options. i would use them myself on one or two chatacters and i know some guys who would too.
there are even leather kilts out there that look like the scott versions. saw a sweet one once that was black leather with cargo style pockets on aswell, called a work kilt. was 666 dollars too, not joking.
    *edit i found it again!
    http://www.utilikilts.com/index.php/kilts/the-leather.html
(thats what i mean by scotts style by the way. i know there are other styles tho)

and with the various style you could have both traditional scotts style in cloth/leather aswell as the xena type ones, loincloth style ones even metal plate, chain and ringmail and scalemail too. all dependant on racial style and material used.

we could realy have more to look at then, when standing about in town :P
(might make a trip to the bank less of a bore too hehe)

Yes please. More display options. Better yet, give us a cosmetic tab (a la LotRO) or transmog (a la WoW), so we can finally customize our look with every available art asset without needing to shell out cash to the crown store. I know, I know, "But how else are we going to get random $5 from customers because they're tired of their current looks". I dunno ZOS, you'll find a way to monetize something else, I'm sure.

It always amused me that the guards wore the same skirts I could pair with a shirt and look dressed up in. The Redoran guards wore long skirts, the Imperials wore knee length skirts. The Indoril had long skirts too but theirs were divided.

You know what, I think you're right... But the robe wouldn't cover the shoulder pieces, that's what i was picturing.
Either way, point is, you could create the armor and skirt aesthetic in Morrowind and it was bad ass there.
