So now using Mercenaries is an exploit....?

Odd. I figured when the developers put them in the game, gave us a merchant to purchase them from, the ability to lay them down near a keep, ect. that they intended for them to be use for defense.

Besides, this is hardly a new strategy. Just took people a little while to figure it out on Live.

They're entirely unrelated.

Caltrops is a bug and an exploit.

Mercs are working as intended.

In fact, the only reason people are qq'ing about mercs is that they serve as a counter to the Caltrops exploit. So anyone complaining about them is probably exploiting Caltrops.
