I constantly receive this "An unknown error has occurred" error message whenever I'm in large groups. My game becomes unresponsive. I can run around in the game world, but beyond that, nothing works. I can't draw or sheathe my weapon(s). I can't interact with other players. I can't use chat. Nothing. After a few minutes, the game will boot me to the log-in screen and present me with the "An unknown error has occurred" error message.
I've tried using Google to identify the problem. I've tried EVERY possible solution under the sun. I have checked my GPU drivers. I have used the "Repair" game option in the ESO launcher. I have launched ESO using both the launcher and the main executable. I have tried running the launcher and the main executable as an administrator. I have also tried running the game in various compatibility modes. None of this works.
How do I fix this? Are you aware of this? Will the next patch address this issue? When is the next patch scheduled to be released? I would like to be able to play what I payed for.
[Edit]
Not sure if this helps, but my system specs are as follows:
- CPU - i5 3570k (stock clocks; boosts itself to 3.8 GHz under load)
- Motherboard - ASRock Z75 Pro3
- RAM - 8 GB of G.Skill Ares running at 1866 MHz
- GPU - Galaxy GTX 670 - 2 GB version
- SSD - 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro - TESO is installed on this drive
- OS - Windows 7 64 Bit - This is also installed on the SSD
I have also attached a dxdiag log to this post.
[Edit #2]
The unresponsiveness appears to persist while I'm in a group even when I log back into the game. Once I've been kicked from the group or once the group disbands, the responsiveness of my game appears to return to normal.
