Haha. Anomalies farming is op. I'm just wondering if they will ever nerf it or whether they are happy for us to keep doing it.

What did you expect grinding for 24 hours straight? You can reach level max in any MMO if you play that much.

Regardless you play the game to reach the end as fast as possible. What do you expect to happen? This game is rich with story and lore, along with crafting and exploring.

If your goal is to level, you will succeed. If your goal is to have fun, you will succeed. How is that bad? You can go slow for those that want to enjoy the little things the game has to offer or you can go fast for those that need to be max level for whatever reason. Personally I like to take it slow... If I run into something that is gonna boost me to max level in 6 hours, I don't sit there farming it then complain that it worked too good. I go do something else.

How can you whine about how easy it was when you went out of your way to not actually play the game but just.. powerlevel? When they make it hard for people who like to get level cap in 2 minutes they complain. When they make it easy they complain. I don't get it...

You want to get to level cap in a heartbeat and then whine that you have nothing to do? You could, I don't know, try playing the actual game? Crazy notion huh?

not whining that i have nothing to do, after all, my endgame has always been cyrodiil.

I was just surprised that something like this existed in the zone to be able to accomplish it so fast.

So my thoughts....it was too easy to hit VR12 doing the quests, but I wasn't in agreement with the "boosted XP" either. Sorry, I enjoy leveling hell, but not everyone can get their way. Enjoy max level.

Also I just want to put this out there:

The amount of VR10 Epics and blues you get from Anomaly chests is overwhelming.

I have so many deconstructed mats. its insane.

I'm not a fan of powerlevelling when the only goal is to bypass the rest of the game and beat everyone else out of PVP but to each their own. Until they properly scale Cyrodiil I just have to live with that and not play there.

But I wouldn't want to deny them their preference either. I'm happy they can powerlevel by slamming a few thingies for a few hours (so they don't have to whine about grind) but I don't understand why they would then post it's "too easy" after they did that, and nothing but that, for hours straight. :P

Did you want to mindlessly bash thingies for longer?

    From VR1-6, I "played nice".

I did Cadwell's Almanac, and to break the monotony I did dailies in Cyrodill and the occasional dungeon.

Then Craglorn went live, and I found Anomoly grinding.
    Sweet, sweet Anomolies.
    I'll make VR12 in a day or 2

    Thank you Zenamax! :)

Because 'they' always do - lol same with the motif crowd that hoarded up a lot. Then come here to the forums and send in reports to the devs to get the very thing they utilized/exploited nerfed to hell. They then have less competition.

Brags about getting v12. Later epic armor decon. Maybe plays to much mmos that reconation has to come from otbers, and lost sight of real world achievements, acceptence.

I've been trying to find any group for anything but this anomaly grinding. Been asking for groups for hours. I go into the dungeons and wait for other to show up, no one, not one. I ask people in my 5 near full guilds, no one cares.

I had 10x more people in the veteran starting islands than willing to group with someone in Craglorn.

So all this group content and the only ones left doing anything in it for people farming using anomalies.

So now I just stealth everywhere, get skyshards, attempt non-soloable bosses solo with resetting mobs (seriously this is just dumb) constantly mid fight. How can the same named spawns just respawn not 60 seconds after killing them during the same fight.

*Yeah I also agree with the thing about the 'powerlevlers'+'scout mission farmers' who just need to abuse the most exploited route to max out then complain about how fast they 'finished' (they didn't play the game).

Thats not the SAME mobs, its their cousins. ;)

*Sympathizes but notes... I STILL look behind me and sort of go 'huh' when I DON'T see mobs, esp the trash mobs respawn in dungeons. Oldschool games I started on - you always had to factor that in.

Matter of fact, when a clothie got taken out in the dungeons, often the group tank would go escort them back to wherever the point was the group had made it up to.

o-0 You youngins' ^-^ Don't make me start tellin' barefoot up the hills and over the plains through the 'snow' in the Karana plains in a far away virtual world stories...I'd have to throw in a few goblin chapters along the way. ;o)

You chose to grind. They said play it how you want. I see people going in there wanting to skip the story... or more so complaining it's too tough soloing (even though I did it all solo) --- Tamriel Hero and all

However, in my own opinion, I believe there should be a requisite to enter Craglorn that is a bit more strict. You should either have completed the entire main story including both VR alliances as well as your own of course, or be VR10... VR9 at the least.

Then again I don't think they want to restrict people wanting to skip the additional content after our "home" alliance story. It makes sense, it's not something I'm fond of as I don't play that way but I'm not paying for everyone elses subscription so I don't really care. If something seems like an exploit for XP, I'll definitely do my part and let ZOS know. However, what they deem an exploit or not is up to them.

I just don't understand why you didn't go and "adventure" in Craglorn if that's what you went there looking for? And it's no secret it was geared for VR10 (even VR9) players.... so you couldn't expect to be hand picked to lead the charge when people were looking for groups. I sure as heck don't want to carry people unless I have a ton of gaming time on my hands... so I'm guessing those are the groups that you found willing to invite you easily.

You should have just leveled the normal way.... questing. And if you really didn't want to quest then at least stop when you are high enough to get invited to a group. Some people advertise VR7+... you deciding to grind to VR12 instead of finding "adventure" was your own choice.

Good to hear its still possible to VR exp grind, I am already sick of the AD areas.
Now I just need to get my second char to VR areas before this is nerfed...and a stable guild to grind with (prefer actual dungeons, not brainless grinding).

I disagree upon entery. As a v5 I could farm mats, kill solo mobs. I think beat main story and two of the three factions is fair.

I am levelling couple alts, and what I noticed is that higher-level veteran zones are almost empty now. Almost everyone moved to Craglorn to grind, and it is extremely hard to find a group to team for a boss or dolmen...

I really hope ZoS will start learning from the mistakes at some point... unless it is the aim to make the Elder Scrolls of Grinding game... :'(

As I said, if it were up to me.. it's my opinion. There is PLENTY in the game left for a VR5 to do. Not to mention all of those skill points! Those who hit end game and/or max level, needed something new to do more than any. I PVP and PVE, and sometimes PVE while PVPing, I enjoy the game. I know it's still new and it has it's fair share of bugs as is expected of an MMO, however there is plenty to do! Max levels don't want to group with those 5-7 VR levels below them unless they are friends or there's maybe ONE of them in the group.... or out of boredom. 4 VR5s are not going to clear a lot of those missions. What do you expect them to do then? Change the entire system like GW2 so our hard earned XP (many of us) is meaningless in that expanded adventure zone? Or only have a specific section dedicated to higher ranks? No... that would be a disaster and I'm confident on that. What would be the point when you can form a group and go zerg around a VR5 zone to begin with, VR10+ do not want to do that unless they are missing something, working on something specific, or helping a friend (for the most part).

The problem is the exp grind in VR areas are tooooooo looooooooong. And I have little interest to spend time in AD for example, a treehugging weirdo realm.

If they now suddenly stop people from grinding to high VR, the ones already VR1x will be kings for weeks, and the rest of us stuck in a VR area grind that may well just kill the fun of the game, for me at least.

I am playing MANY hours a week, and still I have only 1 VR2 and one level 38(?), it takes WEEKS to get to 50 by doing the quest areas, weeks. I started playing in early access, and still not gotten further, and I play for several hours a day normally (far more then 'normal' people do).

    Let me add:
A typical PvPer comming to this game, do NOT want to go through the story 3 times to be max level for PvP, many will just get bored and leave. If Zenimax removes the option to grind to max VR level, they will lose a lot of PvPers.

As it is right now both PvEers and PvPers get what they want; PvEers got a heaven of a game; weeks of PvE content on the same character. PvPers can play through the content once, thereafter grind to max VR and enjoy endgame content and PvP at max level.
