New Dungeon Icons?

I thought I had seen on the new patch notes something about changes to the dungeon icons on the ingame map. I was playing in Auridon and got a quest to go to Toothmaul Gully. I looked at the map, and I believe it was a torch with a plus sign??? Anyway, is there a guide anywhere to these icons? I'd like to determine if this is a public dungeon, a 4-player dungeon, instanced dungeon, or what. I went back through the patch notes, and for the life of me, I could not find it. The key for symbols within the game is somewhat lacking, so I think, particularly for new players, that this is something that can be improved.
Thanks,
Caroloces

Yes, you didn't find it because it was stated in the 2nd message posted in the thread : http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/100211/patch-notes-v1-1-2#latest

    Maps

Updated the icons for public and instanced dungeons to better delineate public dungeons from delves:
The icon for delves is a torch.
The icon for a public dungeon is a torch with a plus sign (+).
The icon for an instanced 4-man dungeon are crossed torches.
Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! - Spells and incantations for those with the talent to cast them!

Hey, thanks so much Sotha Sil. That helps a lot, but what the heck is a delve? :)

Delves are the smaller, solo public mini dungeons. They generally only have one quest, if at all and mobs that come in 1-3 packs.

Public dungeons have mob packs up to 7 or so, multiple bosses, and can have multiple quests to complete.

Thanks, catpower. So basically what distinguishes a delve from a public dungeon is that the delve would be easier to handle on a solo basis? The public dungeon could also be handled on a solo basis, but it would be a bit more difficult, and the 4-person instanced dungeon would be even more difficult still. I'm assuming any one of these dungeons could be done with a group, but the question arises (at least for me!) would the experience gained be the same by grouping, or would the experience be scaled up according to the difficulty?
    Thanks!
