My setup is based on stamina too its a V8 redguard/templar showrd+shield and practicly useless after patch
Am getting killed on the spot if i face more than 1 mobs buggs waspes crabs...craps etc! Suggestions? delete the the player? the game? reset my skills with 25K? start a new game?
What a waste of game time and money....never again newly released game....

Umad bash bot? U can't do a thing without your spammable bash? l2p, after patch there is too many of you who can only spam bash and nothing more, and when it got nerfed you cry like a baby, rather than try smth new and test another gamestyle... You could try HP\Magicka build for example or try some skill combo instead of QQ at forums, cause devs took away your toy.

Kinda funny that they nerfed bash cause it was to easy. Then why do i see almost everybody with a destro staff just spamming that big fire thingie killing almost everything in your path?

A broken game is broken, ESO is beyond fixing. I have been in 10 different guild. Most of them have 500 people with only 10 to 15 peope online on primetime.

How on earth can people say this is a game based on movement and keep a straight face? The freeking EU server is in the USA and we have 500-1000ms lag.

Its an aoe attack and it mushes up hp bars, its not a one button spam ensured victory like bash was.
I have it on skillbar as any sane person with destro staff would, but i need every single skill, all 6 of em to be succesful, unlike bash where you just needed, well, that skill, and you are set.
of course people use pulsar, its best aoe skill, being best doesnt make it OP

Come to think of it, i never make a kill with that skill unless several other people are using it too, thats how OP it is. Solo? never.

Another example of kneejerk reaction "fix". Also a glaring example of pvp affecting pve. A better fix would of been an internal timer on playing characters triggered by debuff effects sometimes people call it negative effect diminishing returns that once you reach its plateau you are immune for x amount of time till internal timer triggers reset all non-playing characters do not have the timer or maybe one less aggressive.

I'm not going to say it doesnt effect me it does but I never was aware of it before they mentioned it was being fix I use shielding glyphs for one reason only I was S/B so I used what naturally was best glyph for my build and as for the cancel animation bug or whatever its being called I used bash because I spec'd deadly bash with glyphs and stacked stamina because it most resembled a smiter. I use recount and never noticed outrageous dps nothing like a sorc or templars aoe or a nightblade single target dps.

If bash and deadly bash with glyphs was the problem why the salt in the wound penalty of increasing cost with less damage/longer internal cooldown(apparently a fix for animation cancellation)?

I agree that bash damage needed to be lowered but, at the sametime the melee weapon damage in general needs to go up allot. So many veteran classes are now limited only ranged class to survive.
I would *** to see melee damage raised and armor mitigation increased to allow both ranged and melee builds to be viable options.

Yep, and add to that, not a single word of nice fix Zenimax. We can play now.

Btw, the shieldbash DOES do decent damage. I put 2 points in deadly bash, got an enchant and tried on a mob when they where doing an ability, to interupt (This is what the bash is there for). Sure, it didnt take off 30% of the HP like before the fix, but did some quite nice damge + stuned it. Changed to bow fast and killed it.

I am all for this fix. But even if I was among those who wouldnt like it, I am learning to use the stun better....didnt even know I was not so good at it, heh.

Nurfing bash makes little difference when tanks in ESO are about as relevant as the colour of your socks.

Avoid the bash nurf by changing to DPS with off heals
Its all you need in this game.

So this guy is crying because a broken skill that was being abused in pvp had its dmg reduced ot put it inline.??? Using SnS in gorup play is still amazingly easy, especially if your tanking, Taunt mob>block>use a skill to reduce its dmg>block more>taunt when it falls off> use another skill. So hard?

As for not being able to spam shield bash on mobs or in pvp, have you tried switching to another weapon maybe???

We all knew Bash did to much damage, they've said they were going to nerf it for a long time. If you built your char to have high sta regen and max sta, and also used jewlery to buff bash, you got to change playstyle, it was to powerful.

You can no longer spam shield bash to win, you most probably need a skill & attribute reset and try some new stuff.

Still, I think they nerfed it to much, 1/3 dmg from what it was + reduced sta efficency + bash jewlery nerf was way to hard.

After this nerf there are other stuff that needs to be hit hard by the nerf bat too

The problem with the vampire that killed 50 people was not in his abilities, but in census discounts price of ultimate.
And here is the part of the Zenimax were poor repair. It was enough to disable the Ultimete over the other and reduce the census cheaper Ultimate price.

Instead of a single solution came the ability to place the frontal balancing.

See, this is why i fkin hate MMO's ..they try to balance things by nerfing the fun out of everything.

I get that Bash did too much damage but why the hell did they nerf it so much that it does less damage than a regular weak attack. Bash actually consumes stamina and does now less damage then a regular attack which doesn't consumes any stamina. (even with the passives)

I wanted to role play a tank with a shield, if i wanted to swing my regular attack like a monkey i shouldn't even carry a shield.

im leaving the game also i tried to stick it out i even asked for a skill point re allocation and i was refused.

i could grind the gold and just be a templar healer since he was never meant to be a tank based on the biting jabs and 1hand+shield and bash nerf but no one has decided to awnser my thread forum post which was all zenimax had to offer me.

it would be difficult enough to go from one play style to the other but with no assistance from my fellow gamers and peers ...what to do eh?
