This campaign was added for the more casual non-experienced pvp player. If you are want to pvp but you are not sure you should go there learn some stuff and enjoy the short term aspect. Its also a place for players to go who are tired of loosing in the long term campaign.
Zenimax will not merge or shorten the existing campaigns simply because it would be bad form to change them this far along. If you don't like your campaign at this point change your home to the new one and enjoy.
