I foresee a counter bot patch this time around
Maintenance for the week of April 7:
• PC/Mac: NA and EU megaservers for patch maintenance – April 7, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 7, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
• ESO Store for maintenance – April 10, 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC) - 3:00PM EDT (19:00 UTC)

These are what I think are the indications.
1. Patch was delayed even when it covers a lot (I won't say most) of the issue and is much needed. Should there be a need for additional fixes, these could be applied on the second maintenance which is today. Hence, the changes to the PTS 1.1.1 could be more than usual.
2. Bot activity increased tremendously with less monitoring and shifted focus to spammers instead. It's either they have given up (highly unlikely regardless of what people say), or they already have some sort of a solution.
3. ZOS has mentioned that they wish to conduct the counter bot patch silently in order to prevent a speedy comeback. This statement was made weeks ago and it is highly unlikely that they can be so incompetent.
4. Few recent bug tickets regarding new issues have been replied with "expect to see the fix in future patches" rather than the usual "We are releasing a fix in the next patch". If they've stopped adding fresh bug fixes, what else could they be adding to the patch?
I may be wrong and living in Rainbow Land where the leprechaun never disappoint me with the location of his stash. But I do sincerely hope that I'm right.

Toorlokviing✭✭✭i wouldnt have so much a problem with bots if they played the game honestly like we all do. but they do not....if they couldnt be invisible, run under the landscape, fly through the air, etc i would not have that much of a problem with them. if zos can stop them from hacking the code of the game...it will be so much better even if the bots still run around collecting nodes and such. at least then we can see them and know they are doing it the honest way.0 -

I don't bother with them at first. But then they began to overpopulate the game, having them flying around doing quests sin't really annoying, but it totally breaks immersion seeing a level 2 in beggar rags turning in a ColdHarbor quest. (I still donate to beggars)
Here are the reasons why I feel they need to be eradicated.
1. They breed too fast to the point where they simply name their child. These makes the names not lore friendly and has neither taste nor personal touch.
2. They form large groups that makes me jealous cause I solo all the time and could hardly find someone to talk to. Plus, they used to hog all the bosses and now the grinding spots. They also ruins the scenery by sticking out like a sore thumb.
3. They are greedy bunch of morons that somehow gets to the nodes faster than I do and loot faster than I do. I like to go like, "Oh, some Kreshweed, imma pick it up and knit some nice clothes!" But no, they make me hold shift until I reach the node like a golem running after a ring. (female characters are exceptionally funny when they run, their legs never come together) [Kreshweed is just an example, VR is clear, for now]
4. They walk through walls, that scares the crap out of me. And as you mentioned, they have the "Xavier School of Ordinary Kids" skill line, which makes me feel so weak and turn my eyes green. Winterhold rejected my application, yet they managed to get into Xavier at level 2.
5. Aside from all that, they're killing the economy. They're created a Pay to Win system. The programmes also grant users an advantage of not having to spend time to gain resources/levels. Some end up whining on the forum (I could be wrong with this example, no offence), "OMG I'm VR1 but I can't finish Valley of Blades Lv 34 quest". They make ESO lose players. They make games wither.
6. And they make me hate Templars.

Like how humans have grown to have less children.

As soon as zenimax plugs one hole, the bots will come through another.
There is no stopping them. They are in every game. Every game has gold sellers, they get that gold through bot farming.
