Why is craglorn fixing everything except Nightblade passives?

Seriously what is wrong with you guys. Thousands of payings customers are complaining in dozens of forums on a daily basis.. Then you bring this major Patch containing a lot of new content and fixing many, many bugs. However reading through the patch notes was really disheartining since you cannot find anything in regards to the nightblade's buggy passives. My Nightblade is missing like 20 % Crit, 5 % Weapon damage, at times 30 % Attack speed - since headstart. Combine this with the fact, that nightblades are really hard to play in VR Content, your decision to not fix this in Craglorn Patch is unnaccaptable. I will cancel my sub until my character can be played as intended and i am not forced to use heavy armor, shield or restoration staff in order to survive 2+ enemies.

    • Nightblade – We have many fixes coming to the Nightblade in our next patch, including fixes to abilities and passives that weren’t working properly, and adjusting the responsiveness in high-intensity combat. We’ll continue to monitor the Nightblade after we push these fixes live.
    • Weapon Swapping – We’ve seen your feedback that weapon swapping lags during combat, and we are currently testing a fix that significantly improves the responsiveness. As this is caused by a number of different factors, we want to be confident in the change before pushing it live.
    • Passives – We found that some passives would stop working when you die, including many of the vampire passives. These will be fixed in our next patch.
The real question is why don't people search and look for answers as opposed to getting upset about something that has been answered previously. This was taken directly from the Known Issues sticky at the top. Combine it with what is in the unofficial 1.1 patch notes.

Thanks for showing that, however there is nothing in regards to the nightblades passives in the official patchnotes. So how are you sure they are not just talking about any next patch but about the craglorn one, especially if its in the "Known Issue" section an not in the "Craglorn Patch notes" section. Is there someone from PTS who can confirm its been fixed in craglorn?
    Thx dudes

You have to remember that craglorn is an update and will not necessarily contain any fixes at all. I guess we will have confirmation in a few.

There has already been a very substantial list of fixes, and a Dev comment that more are included that were not mentioned in that post !
Fingers crossed they have listened and fixed things)

    ;)

EDIT - Knew I'd got the list somewhere...lol
    -
    OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v1.1.1 contains fixes and tweaks to issues reported from playtesting on the PTS, including adjustments to Craglorn and Trials. This version also has more fixes for non-Craglorn quest content.

    FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
    Alliance War
    General
•Increased the Victory Point rewards for all quests that you pick up in towns in Cyrodiil.

    Audio
    General
•You’ll no longer hear dialogue from certain NPC events (such as bandits attacking a merchant) when the NPCs involved are too far away.
•Fixed an issue where there were traces of German VO in the English version of the game.
•Fixed an issue with Dark Anchor sounds.
•Fixed some issues with audio inside buildings and other interior spaces.

    Combat & Gameplay
    General
•Fixed an issue where bash/interrupt could be used more frequently than intended when it was repeatedly engaged.
•Fixed an issue where ground target area-of-effect abilities could sometimes disappear before their full duration completed.

    Templar
•Prism: Fixed an issue where the Prism passive wasn’t properly adding Ultimate when the Dawn’s Wrath ability was cast.

    Group Content & Dungeons
    Trials – General
•Fixed an issue where monsters in Trials would become de-synchronized from their actual position and appear to be where they are not.
•The Thief now has a consistent name between Craglorn and the Trials.
•Fixed an issue where the Leaderboards would sometimes not show results.

    Trials – Aetherian Archive
•The Wispmother Valariel’s clones will no longer stack up on top of her. They will now correctly move to their intended destinations.
•You will now be able to revive if your group wipes during the Wispmother Valariel encounter.
•If your group wipes during the Celestial Mage event before the Mage has entered the fight, the event will now properly reset.
•Teleport pads in the Aetherian Archive will now work as intended.
•All bosses in the Aetherian Archive can now detect stealthed player characters.
•Fixed an issue where waves of monsters were incorrectly awarding loot and experience.
•You will no longer occasionally become stuck in combat while fighting Wispmother Valariel.

    Trials – Hel Ra Citadel
•You will now be able to revive if your group wipes during the Ra Kotu encounter.

    Dark Anchors
•Dark Anchors now reward all participants with chests from Coldharbour.

    Delves
•Delve bosses in Malabal Tor and Stormhaven no longer spawn as frequently.
•Delve bosses in Shadowfen now properly award achievement credit.

    Miscellaneous
    General
•Like treasure chests, heavy sacks are now lootable by all players in dungeons but the total spawned count per instance has been reduced.
•Fixed an issue where resurrecting other player characters would sometimes not work.
•You can no longer place multiple unique items in the bank.
•Fixed an issue where you could sometimes become dismounted from your horse by sprinting.
•Fixed an issue where weapons would periodically lose their charges.
•Crafting hireling mails no longer contain a loot box. Instead, they contain the random assortment of items which the box would have contained when you opened it. The items you receive in the mail are determined by the character for which the mail was intended. ◦As a result of this change, the issue where hireling containers were sometimes empty has also been fixed.

    Quests
    Auridon
•Eye of the Ancients: The Welkynd Stones will no longer disappear if you die.
•Blessings of the Eight: You will now be able to enter the shrine.

•Bosses in Craglorn around areas that you quest will now drop proper loot.
•You can no longer sneak past the boss guarding the Warrior’s Apex Stone. You must fight him like a true hero!
•Zal’ik’s spectral minions can no longer target you with multiple beams.
•We have improved general boss mechanics and AI to better adapt to player behavior.
•Fixed an issue where the compass pin for Shada’s Tear entrance would point you in the wrong direction.
•Adjusted the Vision of Shada that appears in Shada’s Tear so that she won’t despawn prematurely while you’re watching the theater scene.
•If you die during the fight with the atronach bosses inside the Mage’s Staff, you can no longer resurrect during combat.
•Adjusted the difficulty of the lamia bosses in Zalgaz’s Den.
•The Craglorn exploration achievements will now properly display in your journal.
•Defeating Yamanu-Ko in Elinhir will now properly progress the quest.
•Fixed an issue with a missing quest bestower for daily content in Shada’s Tear.

    Eastmarch
•The following achievements will now be properly awarded: ◦Giant-Friend
    ◦Skald-King’s Salvation
    ◦Skald-King’s Arrow

Yes , I knew there would be fixes included but what I meant was that fixes are not guaranteed in this type of update. Bug fixes come when bugs are actually fixed. If the fixes for classes like NB are not in this patch then most likely they have not figured them out yet.

As far i understand 1.1 and 1.1.1. patch notes NB's are still far from fixed. Ofc lack of communication skills or structure may be reason why ZOS haven't successfully communicated all what they have fixed with NB's. One way or another its ZOS. Guys really please mark this - u are bleeding players - change something and start solving issues or most of u will be out of business very soon .

The idea is sometime in the future after we continue to buff Dragonknights we will make a half attempt at fixing some of the NB stuff but we won't mention when, what we plan to fix or what we currently think is broken about them.

I have a VR5 Nightblade and rolled a DK to see what the hype is all about I literally can't stop laughing about how easy it is. Groups of 5, 5 levels above me my only complaint is I have to wait for regen for like 5 seconds after the fight. Compared to my NB it is the easiest thing in the world. I could probably get a brand new DK to VR10 faster than my VR5 NB.

What people mean about "free respecs" is because now their precious hirelings on alts will no longer be useful for their main crafters. Because people abused the hireling system by having one crafter and 7 hireling alts, thus opening 40 - 80 urns in one day, on that one crafters, which was probably not the intention of hirelings. The change makes it so those 7 hireling alts are now useless unless properly level.

They re not bringing the same items anymore, which is a good change imho, prevents abused.

Maintenance for Patch 1.1.2 starts Thursday at 8AM EDT for the North American megaserver and 4AM CEST on Friday for the European megaserver.

At the top of the page for everyone who is logged in to these forums for one. There are hundreds of threads on every ESO forum where PTS members have listed the patch notes. I have yet to see one post anywhere that mentions any additional NB fixes in this patch.

    From AMA
    37. Baramoth2 – Nightblade

Is there any plans to add more utility to the Nightblade class? I feel that this class is somewhat weaker than others in the sense that it has little versatility and anything this class can do, other classes can do just as well if not better. I love my V1 Nightblade, but I fear we just don’t match up to the other classes right now.
•Yes. For patch 1.2, we are looking especially at helping to add flexibility to builds with some buffs to the lesser used abilities. For the nightblade, this includes abilities such as Master Assassin, Path of Darkness, Incapacitate, and more. I’m really looking forward to getting that patch out to everyone: I think you’ll be really excited about the changes.

Yes they mentioned in an post they know there is more wrong with NB and plan to fix in next patch. Unless they put them in this one with no testing done on the PTS at all they are not in this patch.

Look . Its ok to be confused or even not speaking english fluently as far u pay the bill . Still those guys u are paying bill to, have to understand all that, and be more explicit , informative and structured. Back to NB business - we are waiting a long time to receive some love from ZOS and still dont have idea when that will happen . We actually don't know how big impact those fixes will have. If u havent noticed number of not working things with NB is so huge that i actually cant even imagine how big change that will be. And if u are not NB - even today u will play Craglorn on more competitive level that any NB can in this moment. Why u can and i cant ? If u are NB - than i have to say that you are at least - strange.
And for the end - u know what is my answer to all that ? I leveled dk ( coz of NB uncertainty ) - just in case.

It is very common in English to say "next" meaning the one after the "this" one coming up. For example if it is Monday you can say this will happen next Tuesday, the day after Monday is considered "this" Tuesday and the "next" would be the one after that. So if it is Monday and I say we will do something on next Tuesday it is expected that is 8 days away.

I guess it is possible they through a bunch of NB fixes in without any testing done at all on them but no one from the PTS seems to know about them. The idea of a bunch of untested fixes kind of scares me though.

Pretty much exactly what we expected. Add in the flying blade nerf and no bow enhancement pretty much the nail in the coffen to DW/Bow NB.

Nightblade •Fixed an issue that was causing Nightblade abilities to become unresponsive in high-intensity combat situations. This issue is caused by a number of factors, and we will continue to monitor it after this patch.
•Catalyst: Fixed an issue with the Catalyst passive ability. It will now properly increase the effect of speed potions.
•Dark Shades (Summon Shade morph): This ability now deals more damage as the ability ranks up.
•Death Stroke: This ability no longer receives the critical damage bonus when used as a sneak attack. It will still cause a stun and a guaranteed critical hit.
•Focused Attacks: Fixed an issue where ranks II – IV of Focused Attacks were not restoring stamina.
•Sap Essence (Drain Power morph): Fixed an issue where this ability wasn’t granting the initial Weapon Damage bonus you should receive when no target is hit.

I love my V1 Nightblade, but I fear we just don't match up to the other classes right now.

Yes. For patch 1.2, we are looking especially at helping to add flexibility to builds with some buffs to the lesser used abilities. For the nightblade, this includes abilities such as Master Assassin, Path of Darkness, Incapacitate, and more. I'm really looking forward to getting that patch out to everyone: I think you'll be really excited about the changes.

Oh Gawd, I have to wait how many more weeks for the NB patch?

    Time for a re-roll.

    Time for a re-roll.

I rolled a DK and only play my NB when I have people to play with. At VR5 it is such a pain to solo with.

On my DK I was killing bosses 4 levels above me that I struggled with on my NB when I was a couple levels above them. I was soloing groups of 6 3-4 levels above me and barely have to wait between pulls.

When I read that post a while back and it said "next patch" call me crazy but I expected... "next patch". These are some of the most important issues in the game. One of only 4 class bases in the game is busted. Half the skills don't work as they should and the passives are borked. But the potential is there... and we love what it should be.

NB players were really looking forward to this patch and fixes - see previous posts in the forum. Can you blame people for being disappointed?

What we see in this patch: DK buff. NB nerf. None of the broken skills and passives that people need fixed were touched. They tweaked one of the summon shadow morphs? Really? I love that skill but I chose the other morph because it's more fun. And I've seen one other NB use the skill (morph or not) - ever. So I get a nerf on my pve DW build and nothing on my PVP 2H build.

My DK alt that I've rolled, however, has been buffed and I can continue to faceroll that through the game and probably bypass by NB soon enough.

I too assumed next patch meant this patch since it had yet to be released. They should say next patch after the next patch of the current patch. Or some other confusing way instead of lying.

I could care less about the abilities on my NB, I was getting by and I am almost VR8 but now without the passives being fixed and abilities I do not use getting fixed. Whats the point in playing a NB any longer?
