Community Manager
The Elder Scrolls Online v8.3.1 includes updates to Target Markers, several fixes for the Scribes of Fate dungeons, and a number of other smaller bug fixes. We’ve also activated the Jester’s Festival for testing this week. The size of this patch is approximately 174MB.

Updates to Target Markers- Enemy players and summons can once again be marked in PvP areas.
- Enemy players and summons reappearing from stealth must be targeted again before their mark returns above their head.
- Target markers placed on enemy players now clear upon their character’s death.
- You can now toggle target markers off on the compass in Settings > Interface > Compass Target Markers
- You can also now adjust the size of target markers in Settings > Nameplates > Target Markers
Event Testing – Jester’s Festival
The Jester’s Festival is back with jovial and/or ludicrous prizes! As always, you can complete the introductory quest to acquire your Pie of Misrule, a collectible Tool that grants you a 2 hour 100% experience bonus during the duration of the event.- The first Jesters Festival daily you complete each day will award you a gold-quality Stupendous Jester’s Festival Box and 3 Event Tickets, with subsequent dailies granting purple quality Jester’s Festival Boxes that have smaller chances to give you The Good Stuff.
- This year’s silly offerings include the Broom weapon style and Bucket armor style, useful for taking out the trash and mopping up after your kills in the battlegrounds (respectively). You will also be able to collect fragments for the utterly adorable and delightfully ridiculous Jester’s Daedroth Suit, in honor of a certain terrible lutist you can have perform during one of the event’s quests. Last, but not least, is a long-requested “outfit style” for Hide Shoulder – the thing you do, not the thing you wear.
- Fragments for the Jester’s Daedroth Suit, as well as pages for the Broom and Bucket styles, can drop from Stupendous Jester’s Festival Boxes given out for the first event daily quest you do each day, while the Hide Shoulder “collectible” is available from the Impresario during this event for 5 Event Tickets.
- After Jesters Festival ends, the Hide Shoulder collectible will be on her assistant, Philius Dormier, forever more!
- The Impresario will have all three fragments of both the Passion Dancer Blossom pet and the Passion’s Muse personality, along with bound versions of fragments and style pages for the new offerings this year.

Please note the majority of the fixes and adjustments below were included in last week’s PTS patch (8.3.0) and we inadvertently missed the patch notes for them; these are marked with an asterisk.
General- Fixed an issue where you could enter a state where you were unable to travel to Wayshrines in some very rare cases.
Dragonknight- Ardent Flame
- *Shackle: Increased the damage of this synergy by 20% to ensure it stands up to other Ultimate synergies' power.
Necromancer- Grave Lord
- *Graveyard: Reduced the damage of this synergy by approximately 34%. Note that the value of 47% noted in last week’s patch notes was simply incorrect.
Sorcerer- Storm Calling
- *Conduit: Increased the damage of this synergy by 20% to ensure it stands up to other synergies' power when accounting for the fact that it also only does damage.
Templar- Restoring Light
- *Purify: Fixed an issue where this synergy's healing was being truncated in some situations. This will result in a minor increase in the healing done.
Guild- Psijic Order
- Concentrated Barrier: Fixed an issue where this passive's shield could become stuck after swapping to a bar that did not have a Psijic Order ability slotted.
General- You will now gain rapport with Ember at the end of a Tribute match regardless of winning or losing.

General- Water now completely fills the slip in one of the Gonfalon Bay boathouses, instead of being cut short unexpectedly.

- Fixed a seam on the Khajiit version of the Short Mussed Wave hairstyle.

Endeavors- Fixed an issue where the group event in the Spire of the Crimson Coin did not advance Endeavors that ask you to defeat said events.
General- Fixed an issue where resuming a game that was suspended while browsing furniture would result in broken controls.
Homes- Fogbreak Lighthouse
- Corrected several issues with clipping assets.
- Patched a couple of holes in the terrain.
- The house interior now has a map!
- Fixed an issue where the lighthouse's beam was not always visible from as far away as intended.
- Interactions with ladders in the lighthouse are now smoother.
Necrom Prologue Quest- Eye of Fate
- Updated the journal text to provide clearer instructions.
- Mondrar will now notice your character more quickly to kick off his portion of the quest activity.
Thieves Guild- Partners in Crime: Fixed an issue where Quen would despawn after exiting the cell when you get captured.
General- Fixed an UI error that could occur on the PTS while an ESO Plus Free Trial is active.
Help & Tutorials- Updated the Help Menu entry for Loading Quickslots.
