Should Emperors have a kill count option?

The most recent hullabaloo that has everyone up in arms, I think, is the Emp farmers. Why should anyone be allowed to have all the perks from doing something, that others have to struggle for? Or, never get the chance bc we're not in the group of agriculturists? If you are awarded Emperor, what would show that you EARNED it through actual defense/ offense? I think there should be titles for numbers of kills/ destroys/ builds/ takens, etc. Or at least a display of your kills under you name. I don't think honest players should have to go without, simply bc of some dishonest ones. Besides, no one would give the time of day to an "Emperor" with 50 kills...

What do you think?

    I'm not sure why so many people are under the assumption that 'real' emperors earn the title in a noble way. You either adapt or you don't see yourself as emperor. You'd have to farm players at alessia bridge instead of actually trying to win the campaign in most cases. 'wow such noble, many oilpot'..

    i dont agree with people passing emp around, but i also don't understand what you mean? killing lots of players (ie farming at an outpost or ambushing zergs at a choke point) is some of the fastest ap you can get. dunno if you know this, but healing is up there too. you get tons of ap for healing, enough that i guess people would use it to farm. there are some high-ranking lowbies who aren't that good in a fight but earn lots of ap because they are always at the back, on siege, and get credit for lots of kills. there are many different ways to earn lots of ap. i dont see how you'd be able to tell from their kill counts that they're farmers?

    a stat profile for all players would be a good thing, though. i'd like to see number of total weapon kills, spell kills, siege kills, health points healed, number of people rezzed. they have achievements for a few of those so it wouldn't be much of a stretch, and it would be a really interesting insight, especially if it was available to all to see.

    @Glantris‌,That is more what I was meaning. I've never played WoW, but my roommate is a 5 time Glad (????). The way he speaks about it, there is always some sort of way that the community can tell if you are legit. @1nugam1‌, I see your point and it is good. However, you've brought nothing more to the table.

    Ive seen people earn Emperor the way the game intended it. Then they help all their guildmates and friends get emperor, they way the game did not intend it.

    Hm so what do you think about running around in a zergball spamming 1-2 spells, intended or not? Right now that seems like the easiest way to get ap as a group.

    @Prince_Edward‌
    I bring nothing more to the table. I do not believe it would benefit the community to see any stats in the long run. It'd make people wary about their own stats and try to preserve them trying to look ''good'' .. They'd hesitate to pull off suicide ganks and 'behind enemy lines' tactics. But then again I've never been fond of stats. 'You're only as good as your next fight' is what I play by.

    One thing doesnt justify the other. I am on Wabbajack and it is closely contested between DC and Ep right now, and i have yet to see a successful zerg using all the same 1-2 skills. What i have seen is some massive battles that are locked in and neither force can push the other back. Ive seen battles breakout in places that arent even stratigically necessary and those places somehow become major war spots filled with siege and camps and players locked in non-stop combat....and 2-12fps. I have also seen some cheesey exploits with scrolls.

    You haven't been locked down and run over by an impulse-spamming train yet?

    Not in like over a month. When talons+standard+impulse+Dblood was super op, their were group of 10-15 players running around impulsing and standard killing 20,40,50 players. I havent seen that at all since back then.

    ... You speak as if it's currently not op. Well! either way consider yourself lucky, I'd advice not to guest Dawnbreaker EU or AB for that matter.

    Yeah,i remember one of the guilds im in mentioning this problem for an enemy army that was camping inside a keep spamming impulse and what-not. The guildies decided to get boneshield up and then charged in....completely smashed them. I suppose if a guild can organize to use bone shield over and over as a tactice, that could become op the same way as a guild saying "lets all use impulse". All in all- its best to have a guild that can organize these kind of tactics and thats not op- just tactical.

    Well.. These impulse crews only work with people assigned to different roles mostly. You'd have different people using Barrier/boneshield, Impulse, Retreating maneuver, ppl going immovable from heavy armor. Some guilds use a mod which gives the leader a big arrow above his head just in order to perform as a zergball.

    I don't get what you mean. What about stat display would make someone want to preserve themselves, and take less risks? I would think the amount of times you die, shouldn't be a necessary stat to display. Maybe I'm just not thinking enough about this. Explain moar?

    I suppose people would want something similar to 'KDA' or kill/death ratio. and then judge you upon that. I'd very much dislike a system like that. But it does not have to be like that. It's just me imagining worst case scenarios probably.
