That was one hell of a fight. There were a looooooooooooooooooooooooot of Blues out there on the field.

There were some great moments. I'm glad that defense didn't devolve into the standard Step 1, shoot from walls, Step 2, immediately retreat as soon as wall goes down. We fought back and forth over sections of walls and towers and gatehouses while raining artillery down from the inner keep to support pushes and cover withdrawals. We jumped out several times to clean flankers off and even once flanked a massive push into the primary wall breach and wiped the entire push while then cleaning out the tower that the push had taken control of.

In the end, there were about 30 of us (my team + puggies) left by the time the courtyard was utterly overran and at that time it was a matter of how long the holding action could be maintained.

I really wanted to see how big that defense tick was going to be. Just needed to get the keep out of combat for five minutes.
