Seriously ESO, Multiboxing on your new game?

I'd like to know what the position of ESO is on Multiboxing or Botting or whatever you would like to call it. EP is the ONLY Faction I have seen this on and its starting to spread on that faction. I guess when others see what it does to enemy players they are like TEACH me, TEACH me please. It will only get worse unless ESO takes (or all players that enjoy the game) action sooner rather than later.

To those doing it I say this, "REALLY" you get what satisfaction out of running people over in a bot zerg? Grow up, please. Play the game it was INTENDED to be played. One vs one, or are you not man/women enough with the proper skill set?

This action on every other MMO I have played on got (when proved by players or GM's in game) an AUTO BAN along with a IP block with NO recourse whatsoever. If they are using this "Skill" (LOL), to farm in Cyrodiil are they also using this to farm dungeon's and PVE content. Is this what ESO wants their game to stand for?

Come on ESO take a stand.

Say NO to Multiboxing. Please for the sake of the game.

Yea multiboxing is nothing but terrible in this game. Maybe back in the days of EQLive it was the thing to do but this game requires just WAY too much to even successfully heal somebody sometimes.

If multi-boxing means multi-accounts, it also means multi-money for ZoS, so i can almost safely suppose that no multi-action will be taken against.

omg..this again. Again, I will state we don't multi box, gm's pm our members every few nights doing a "bot check". We simply use Teamspeak 3. I will thank you guys for giving us a medium to add more members to our "bot" team.

You TSym guys held us out of glade for like 2-3 hours lol, good job on the hold! Was epic. Too bad AD was flipping every resource on the map, you might still be in there lol.

yea, i don't know what happened on the EP side tonight. it seemed we had a lot more players than normal. Tonight was a good moral booster for EP. Naw had a great run at Emp for almost two weeks. Hopefully we can keep up some good fights like we all had tonight for the near future.

Plus Alacrity showed up and that was a plus its always fun to fight with those guys and galz, I know they were not in full force but maybe tomorrow

But great fights across the board on BT.. it is truly the server with the best teams on all sides.

Yeah Bloodthorn has really amped up. Glad I got off ABow. The skillcap of the players seems much higher.

I haven't seen any sign of multi-boxers - except for dungeon bots (and they seem to have gone now).

Certainly none in RvR Bloodthorn EU.

Unfortunately, anytime someone says multiboxers on BT from the Pact side, they have been referring to Tsym for a couple weeks now. Across Reddit, here on the official forums, and recently on the Tamriel Foundry. This slander has given us all the battle cry of #botlife. We get bot checked on the regular now because of all the reports against us. I thought we had settled this on every forum, but still some people refuse to believe that humans using TS3 can coordinate like we do.

Great fights though everyone from every side. Glade was fun and we will see everyone on the field again, and again.

Fun times last night. I get excited when I log and Cyrodiil buffs are gone. I looked at the map and ya'll were totally touching our stuff. You were just touching all over it with your hands and everything... trying to make our stuff into your stuff.

The AD Emp team seems to be well on its way to being scary. If they farm a few more Emps the pain train will be unstoppable.

I also do not think any bots/boxing are being used in the PvP. Maybe dungeon farmers or resource nodes, but not in actual fighting. AoE caps will make it hard to break you all up, but I will figure out a devious plan... mwah haha

The AD emp team is what will kill PvP. ZOS better put a stop to that type of exploitation.

I've never witnessed Alacrity aka "The AD emp team" using exploits. They are simply a smaller team that is good at killing teams. Just claiming that a team exploits without supplying details is not constructive.

Funny Blizzard doesnt ban people and they know people are doing it and if people want to buy six copies of the game and do that it should be their choice not yours

Some people are pretty stupid.
I see a bunch of guys running in tight formation, I think 'guild team'. I see bunch of toons linked together like Siamese sextuplets, I think 'multibox'.
You have to be a special kind of dumb to not spot the difference.

I don't think AD Emp team is exploiting. Other guilds/groups do this. They see that former Emp. buffs are permanent and very useful in PvP (a team of 20+ people with seige weapon dmg. buffed will tear through keep walls like butter). Some groups/factions farm the title & buffs and put together strong teams that will eat faces like candies. Some groups/factions have people that want to keep the title for 90 days. Different strokes for different folks. C'est la vie. Some tactics/playstyles have more long-term benefit than others. Campaigns will be changed in the future and folks will have more options where to spend their effort/AP.

This first round has been a bit thrown off by balance issues (bats stacking, caltrops, etc. etc. etc.). Hopefully, the shorter campaigns will be more balanced & rewarding for people that put in the effort.

first, multiboxing and botting are 2 different things. multiboxing is fine tho it gives little to no reward in eso outside of crafting maybe. botting however is bannable and should be. then again no mmo in history has ever or will ever dish out IP bans for botting. they would be stupid to do so cos they make alot of money from botters. what they do instead is ban them when found guilty and wait till they make new accounts and ban them again when found guilty again.
