Hopes for Imperial City PvP Dungeon

Zenimax recently revealed they are working on an Imperial City PvP dungeon. I wanted to share my hopes for what this dungeon may bring to ESO.

First, this dungeon is opened up when one alliance controls all the keeps around the Imperial City. When the dungeon changes control from one alliance to another, those members of the original alliance that had control are still able to adventure throughout the dungeon. However, players that lost control may not enter.

Second, I hope this dungeon is massive. I mean really massive, on the order of 200+ rooms as shown in the picture below. The rooms will be varied throughout the dungeon, such as containing enemy mobs, bosses, puzzles, traps and secret passageways. The bosses are scattered throughout the dungeon and have a chance to drop legendary loot.

Third, right by each faction entrance, there will be a small dungeon town where players can rest, shop and repair. These towns will also contain crafting stations. Lastly, there will be NPC Guards that will protect players inside the town.

    Hopefully it'll have the Akaviri Dragonguard, with their proper weapons (katanas) and armour (similar to later Blades-style), guarding the Ruby Throne... (according to established TES lore, this is what the remainders of the Dragonguard did during the interregnum).

    They made some very good looking, solid dungeons so far, I'm sure they'll make this project into something great :)

    Balancing would be difficult, but could be done.

    doesn't matter how big/small it is. it'll be full of bugs :(

    Nice~ i had the same idea. The trailer did look like it fits the implication. It would be fun to fight each other or be forced to help another faction if a miniboss is too difficult.

    Yeah. Would also be cool to see different monster types, such as Minotaurs.

    I already can imagine every 10 sec need open map for dont get lost...i dont like it.

    Looks like maze to me, how about bigger rooms instead of many tiny ones?

    The picture was used for illustration purposes only. The dungeon could be varied, some small rooms and some large rooms, short hallways and long hallways, etc...
