ESO Needs to be Perfectly Imbalanced.

But what do you mean Perfectly Imbalanced?!?!?

Well the thing is, no game is balanced, that is a fact (inb4 pong/chess) but the closest thing we can get to balance is Perfectly imbalanced.

Perfectly Imbalanced- Everything is imbalanced, so in return nothing is. "Everything has strengths and weaknesses"

Perfectly Imbalanced=Balanced due to counter play.
This also allows FOTM to exist, since it is the cycle of counter play (Playing Anti-meta)
Something is overpowered when it lacks counterplay. (Bolt Escape[Don't get angry about me pointing out that spell]

Their are many games that use this Perfectly Imbalanced model, because it works really well and make the game balanced due to counter play which is player controlled.

Now lets see spells people complain about.

Bat swarm
Bolt Escape
Critical Surge
Dark Talons
Dragon's Blood

So do those spells have counter play?

Bat swarm- counterplay is to literally kite or reduce the amount of people hit with X spell.

Bolt Escape -counterplay is.... The fact is their is no counterplay, if a sorc decides he doesn't want to fight you anymore or he wants to run into your zerg to drop Anti magic and Crit surge, you literally have 0 way to counter play this mechanic.

Crictical Surge-You can use trait to reduce crit and also reduce the amount of people hit by this (Doesn't change the fact that it is still the strongest heal in the game, but I shall get to heals soon)

Dark talons- This spell can not be blocked, but can be rolled out of and is limited to an AOE around the caster, so to abuse it to full potential forces the caster to be in a position of high risk high reward.

Dragon's Blood- Has a diminishing return, but at a certain threshold of HP it can be used incredibly well and their is really nothing you can do about it.

My Solution to heals is to add a spell that reduces healing by 50% only on targets at 15%-20% of HP.(To Dragon's blood and other heals)

This rewards players for "Surprising" their target to an incredibly low HP range, and also forces Dragonites to not wait till they are at a sliver of HP to get a huge heal.

Tl;DR: Game needs to be balanced on Counter play, and the ability to counter play, if their is no counter play in an ability it is overpowered.

I can't think right now. Is death stroke the only ability that has the mortal strike effect on it? I don't think so, but I can't seem to find it anywhere
