Sorcerer Clannfear pet

I love playing Sorcerers because of their minions. I call mine Bob. But i wish we could reward our minions with treats, because they work hard. Itsca thought

Technically they are familars not pets, and we can't be sure that we summon the same Clanfear/Winged Twilight/etc.

But I wouldn't mind giving them names, although none spring to mind.

I call my Clanfear Lord *** (and there's a reason he's been benched). When I'm running around with monsters after me, desperately trying to keep alive, he just stands there like a total moron and does nothing. Other times he runs past me and attacks mobs I was suppose to avoid because of the other pack right behind them.

My Clanfear lives to kill me. Not any more.

Mine is named NoFear, cause he is brave, not like Cutie Pie who stays in the back and sings to herself like a psychotic child.

I use her seldom, but NoFear is a jewel. They need to be cued, I believe more control is coming, on the right monster, it will be the first you hit. I use 'pet escape' all the time in areas way above my own level. I do wander, just drop him and run.

Hah. I wound up doing that at a dolmen this morning. Some moron started the fight with only the two of us there. Hey, dude, I'm a sorc, but only lvl 12, I'm still trying to learn to sorc.

Let me summon a flame atronach permanently instead of some crappy lightning rock for 20 seconds and I may actually use a summoning ability.

flame atronach is lame, she has about the same survivability as the winged twilight.

Pet is great for PvE, who knows, with 1.2, it may be good for pvp too. definitely worth putting some points into. Ward and bound armor are also very nice.

Love this topic! My sorcerer have all the three daedric familiars available. They're a great help but occassionally so stubborn. And yes, it would be great thing to reward them or interact with them.

I call my clannfear Littlefoot (from The Land Before Time). I know his feet are not so little, but the movie impressed me a lot as a child. He loves having screenshots taken of him. It's difficult to keep him out of them.

The singing horror aka Twilight Matriarch is called Princess Celestial. I'm a fan of original vintage MLPs, not the new ones. Though the name somehow fits her well.

The Storm Attronach's name is Ismo. It's a Finnish name. Every time I summon him, I must say: "Ismo, I choose you!" As if he was a pokemon.

Then there is Dr. Connors, my scuttler vanity pet. I start calling him that because it felt so funny and twisted. That little fellow doesn't look like Dr. Connors at all (not the man nor the lizard) and he's certainly no doctor (I suppose).

I may have been known to call the storm atronach "the big gnome" because of the part in a (probably very old and obscure) flash cartoon, "tales of the blode", where they say "summon the big gnome!" and it falls out of the sky on top of whatever monster they're fighting

I call mine, Door Blocker. LOLLLLL no really, that's what all pets should be called atm.... they are Legion, they are one... they are... DOOR BLOCKER. And they have a hive mind to block doors everywhere!

Even funnier was in PVP recently, my own teammate had out one of those Restoring Twilights and its blue beam prevented me from moving through it!!! I had to go around it further than usual because of the beam's area that it covers..... -.-

My attronarch I call Sparky (yes kinda obvious) and my clanfear I call Burt. Don't ask me why I was drunk when I named him and it's just stuck...lol

that movie stops being impressive when you've seen every awful sequel and most of the tv show episodes. So terrible.

I only purchased the clannfear because dinos are awesome, he is pretty useless, though.

I don't really feel pets are useful for my sorcerer in general.

Yeah, those sequels suck. Though I don't let those or any other sequels ruin my experience of the original one, mainly because they tend to make sequels of every movie nowadays and back then.

I like to solo some difficult bosses and in those cases the pets are a great help to keep the aggro in them - not me.

Before I took those familiars into my loadout, I use to dislike them and called those who kept them as "zookeepers". Now my sorcerer is a zookeeper herself.

Aww, yeah, I do wish I could name my Clannie. Unsure what I'd call him but I'd think of something:) If nothing else, he'd just be Tanky xP Also, this'd actually be useful not just as a cosmetic feature but in general, to avoid confusion. If there's more than one Clannfear around it can often become confusing whose Clannfear it is(and yes, it's imporant - if it's not mine then I should resummon mine and if it bugs out and just stands there the owner should unsummon and resummon it to fix that, too, and it's a bit complicated when owner can't tell if he's the happy owner or someone else is).

This can actually be really important(tho I admit such situations are rare) - like when doing vet Banished Cells hard mode me and fellow sorc both summoned Clannfears to keep the daedroth off us, except one of them ended up bugging and just standing there. I thought it was mine, unsummoneed it...and turned out it wasn't and I unsummoned the one who was keeping a daedroth off me-.- That's kinda annoying.

My Sorcerer named her Clannfear Bloodfeast, which started as an OOTS-related inside joke between a friend and me and sort of stuck. :P I imagined my character started calling it that as a joke and later found out it wouldn't respond to anything else.

Since Winged Twilights are sentient I figured she'd have her own name as opposed to one chosen by her summoner, which is Yxara. (yep, I even try to come up with lore-friendly names for pets :P ).
