DPS Post 1.13 By Class (Appreciate Input!)

Hey all - I posted this in the 'dungeon and trials' subforum, then realized the movement there is quite slow.

I would appreciate if people could anecdotally add the following information:
*Their own best sustained single target DPS on trials runs
*Some summary of their build type - keep it secret if you feel to!
*Can you make a stamina based build hit these numbers?

Keep in mind - this is not about elitism - but unfortunately, trials were created as a DPS race. Understanding ones own DPS is the only way to tweak towards the average and actually compete for top times.

It's worth saying that I main a NB and just brought up a Sorc at v1. I am very familiar with popular DK/sorc builds, but unfortunately do not run into enough templar DPS to understand their rotation.

These are average values obtained from samples of about 5 people each. The p value is not strong with this data. However, it gives us a birds eye view.

NightBlade:
Stamina-based: 600
Magicka-based:800

*Veil is a very important ult for the final boss of both AA and HR. Top trials groups in EU are working in 2-3 NightBlades to keep veil in rotation on the boss for AoE cycles.

*NB have the highest DPS execute in the game. Paired with veil, and they rival/beat sorcs for 25%<.

Sorc:
Magicka-based:1200

*Storm atronach is what gives sorcs the highest DPS in the game at the moment at adding another ~300, but the rotation / build still eludes many

DK:
Magicka-based:1000

*Ult gen was a huge nerf to DKs, yet they still reign supreme in AoE packs due to class passives synergizing with Impulse spam

Templar:
Magicka-based:800

*Generally 1-2 required per raid for healing ult

Let me add, these are very average numbers. Top sorcs I have seen pull 1500+. On most bosses my Nightmage pulls 1k+, and 1500+ during execute phase.

Edit:

Let me also add - if you aren't running trials, you really aren't missing out. The loot isn't half worth it. The new sets don't really increase DPS - crafted is still superior. Trials are more about a fun challenge.

That looks pretty boring really. Where are the stam based DKs and Templars?

All I see are a bunch of mages with 1 rogue.

How have you seen other's dps? Must have missed that addon, unless you are taking their word for it.

Im really curious because im always playing with builds on my sorc and have never reached that on a single target, only aoe. So if it is aoe then you might want to clarify that.

    These are all single target

Keep in mind, this is v12 with epic/legendary gear and enchants. The first few days after the most recent patch, group DPS for FTC worked.

Mostly, however, I take peoples word for it - it's pretty easy to do the math considering knowing the following information:

    1)Length of fight
    2) Number of players DPSing
    3) Your own DPS

Length of the fight is the biggest thing, any fight under 3 mins is a non issue as all classes can BURN mana for dps.

After 3 mins, templars drop out due to no mana recovery skills (unless they are the healer and using restro stuff.)

Do you have any stats of Templar dps when they are not the healer?
Can you split the DPS into first 3 mins, and the rest of the fight? Templars can get ok DPS (not as good as other classes, but ok) for the first three mins, but then.....

Your numbers are extremely off, not to mention if your getting them from trials its going to change a lot in a case by case play due to what works on each type of boss.

Your Sorc numbers are really laughable, excepting Storm atronach as the big kicker for sorcs is so wrong, previously when you could use a siphon build and have more then 1 up most of the time this was the case, but yeah no doesn't happen in this patch lol. Yeah honesty 1200 average for sorc lol, try maybe 750 in a RS build, maybe 850 in a FS build..

In terms of maximum dps in trials its about changing a lot of things up to max out for each boss, i my self use different weapon, skill and gear sets threw out each trial changing to max out for what i need to do.
