Why is the launcher now asking me if I have created an account... and if not would I like to??!!??

    Good sir's that is an indirect warning to hackers. Somewhere out in electron hell is a cracked playable version of ESO and they know it. The wild hunt is on.IF everyone is smart cover your jimmy's and stay clear of this one.

    They opened up the Test server to everyone and it's available from the launcher so it's maybe something to do with that?

    its just cycling through the various sugestions / reminders.
    its been telling me about craglorn and 12man stuff for days now. they forgot to feed the hamsters, so the new messages got lost in the pipes becasue the hamsters wont work for free....

    *hands big bag of nibbles to the staffers*

    I think its a new thing there doing for people that just finsihed installing the game its nothing I already have my account so it does not matter B)

    Neither the launcher nor the login promt is asking me anything of the sort.

    Maybe something was reset in your user profile and the launcher thinks it is his first start? Perhaps you deleted the user settings (usualy place to store a "first launch" variable).

    You should check if global game setting (like graphics) are properly stored between runs the client.
    If that does not work there might be an issue with the game accessing/writing it's data in the User Profile (propably right issues, those happen from time to time in Windows).
    If that part works there is propably nothing to worry about.
