Anyone else really bummed about...
... the lack of mention of player housing in "the road ahead". I thought all of the ES fans would be up in arms about this, but I haven't seen much of a push. I have been waiting for them to mention it for months now, but I guess I'm the only one?

Ulvich✭✭✭✭✭Right now I am more concerned about broken quests, random disconnects, lag, bots, spammers and so on. Let's give the game a few more months then start throwing stuff like this at the devs.

You guys are def. right about the other stuff needing to be fixed first... but I'm being a bit greedy and just keep waiting for someone to mention it. It was one of my favorite parts of Skyrim... having a place to store my trophies and whatnot.0

Would still rather have guild halls than player housing. Its an MMO after all.
Also, player housing, judging by the cost of a horse and respeccing, would probably be about 250 million gold for a rotten barrel with a welcome mat outside.2 -
rbenkepub19_ESO✭✭✭I think a lot of people would get into player housing. I would. I was a serious dimensioner in Rift. (Rift's version of player housing is called dimensions, and they did a VERY good job with them - you can build almost anything you can think of.)
But in having been a core member of the dimension community in Rift, I saw that only a small percentage of the players had enough interest to actually build a dimension.
My guess is that though the people who are into player housing are REALLY, REALLY into player housing, our numbers lack the collective voices to get the company managers on board with the idea of devoting resources to it. I imagine it's considered one of those "maybe when we have nothing better to do" kinds of projects. I'm not holding my breath. But yes, I would love it if ESO had player housing.0 -

Your guild wants a meeting place? Find someone in guild who wont use their house and do that. Was what we did before EQ2 turned the world into empty streets with guild halls.0 -

Tannakaobi✭✭✭✭✭It's come up a few times and even mentioned by the devs. Something to look forward to. The thing is it's a luxury, no one is that bothered, to much other stuff on their minds.
