Is the enchanting level 28 skill gain bug fixed with this patch?

Just wondering if this has been fixed as i'm pretty close to this level now.

For those that don't know there was a bug in leveling enchanting from level 28-29 that needed about 4x the XP to progress to level 29 (no other level was affected).

I had this problem too, when i leveled from 26-27 it skipped 27 and went straight to 28 with half XP filled. Very strange...

I'm having a problem getting to level 15! Cannot for the life of me find the lower level potency runes. It has been difficult to find level 3 and lower potency runes.
I have tons of level 4, 5 and 6 runes and need to move up to level 4.
I have even tried buying glyphs and deconstructing them - but its way too expensive.

This is bugged? I swear Ive been working so hard to get to level 29. I am 239694/247660. Almost level 29. . . . . almost. . . .

Edit: damn, just hit 29, only need 70k or so to hit 30. Would it be too much to ask for a bonus of190k enchanting exp now that Im out of that?

Are you raiding the lower-level regions? The potency runes are tiered by area.

Looks like I will be visiting lots of bookshelves and hope for a +1 to enchanting when I'm level 28.

I was going to comment that I wish they'd tell you what books you've read, but I know that they have, though whether you can tell if you can't read another to level in enchanting, I don't know. Actually I just wish they'd tell you what quests you'd completed.

Wow this still isnt fixed.... VR1 char just got my enchanter to level 20 and I cant honestly remember the last time a book gave me a skill point ... i am pretty sure i maxed out all books. Maybe ill level an alt grrrr.

I've had guild members still level stuff in Vet areas. So I wouldn't say looking at books is dead, just not that often something is found.

Unfortunately the achievement that records 'Skill books found' is not working either so I can't tell if i've found all the enchanting books yet. Guess I'll just have to slug out the 240k plus IP to get to level 29

very frustrating when i found this was true and i wished i had never raided book shelfs. So many little things like this ignored by ESO team. My Level 21 enchanter quit opening books but hasnt gotten a skill point gotten in weeks so i cant imagine ill ever get one in enchanting.

I had only a portion of this problem.
I went from level 26 that only needed 65k and completely skipped level 27.
It put me 115k into level 28 that still needed me to reach the 247k target.
I just reached level 29 that is back down to needed 70k.
I guess I got a little luckier than you as I didn't need the full 247k for 28 and missed the 56k for level 27.

I did submit a bug for this, have not heard back.

Did you happen to skip level 27 like this poster? If so, the experience requirement evens out to where it's meant to be, between starting halfway and skipping a level. If not, you're being gypped a level's worth of exp.

Well ***. That explains why the 20k I spent on crafted blue and purple VR5-VR7 runes only got me an extra 1/4 (if even that far) of the way through enchanting level 28. I suspect I will never see that 20k ever again. Dang I need to read the forums more often so I don't waste my money trying to level a broken skill.
