Sad Changes

So I made a new character (Templar this time) and I'm on the quest 'The Frozen Man'. It used to be that when you had to guess the right one, you literally had to guess. Now it's blatantly obvious since it's the only one not doing some stupid movement and is the only one laughing.

Just how much hand holding do these next generation of gamers need?

This is one of those quests that could've been really fun. I could see how the old way could be frustrating. If each image of him is identical you are simply guessing until you guess right. The way it is now is neither fun nor interesting.

This is one of those quests that just needed some thought in the design.

This of 6 things that could be different. Subtle things that require the player to look carefully at each image.

Mix up the spawning location of the real one so you can't depend on before hand knowledge. I'm an altaholic so I've played through this a few times. Enough to first figure out which one was the real one on the second guess and then I eventually figured out with one was the real one on the first guess. This is because in never changes.

Between mixing up spawn locations and choosing one of the six possible subtle differences, this will allow players to actually use their brain (something that is being taken out of video games) to search for the image that has that one difference and actually find the real one.
