Fastest horse vs Bolt escape

Yesterday I finnally managed to lvl up max speed my 42k speed horse, it means 75% speed (for some reason it is not 74%, because one of the last levels give +2% instead of +1%)
And there I was so happy with the fastest mount in game, it took so many weeks to achieve it but I did it. I Knew I could run away from enemy zergs as long as I was not ambushed while mounting that supersonic horse...until I got hunted by one of those zergs with sorcs that bolted escape like 10 times faster than my horse speed.
It was like...Did they just move faster and for a very long distance using a single skill than the fastest horse in game? Really? Wow
Maybe there should be a skill line for mounting with skills that you can use while mounting, like extra speed, oil leak to slow those behind you, nitro and mount teleport to escape from sorcs.

✭I chased down a sorc tonight on fastest horse with charging maneuver and using stamina..they eventually got tired of running and turned to fight as I circled them. It was little funny..of course as soon as I dismounted and took a shard to the knee(to insure I couldn't remount) they jetted off again with a sliver of health showing..so..it can be done

Censorious✭✭✭✭Using Lightning Form +25% movement plus BE plus potions (An endless supply of course), I can indeed outrun most horses.
It's close though - dunno about the 'fastest horse' +75% speed - probably not.
'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.1 -

I don't condone that Bolt Escape is faster than a 75% horse, however, there is a Steed Mundus Stone that can further increase the speed. With full divines, you can get that thing cranking though seems like a waste just for run/mount speed.0 -

Bolt Escape in its current form is the most ridiculous ability in PvP atm. That the devs haven't touched it yet shows me why we still have:
1. Terrible Server Cyrodiil Lag with any decent population
2. Unattackable bugged NPC mercenaries
3. Constant huge swaths of time playing solo (not in a group) When I can't mount or go stealth when I haven't taken any offensive action and everyone around me is mounting up or stealthing???
4. Having to sometimes relog to repair a Keep
5. Can't go in Keep doors, OR knocked down Doors are still visible and un-passable to me
6. Since the Crag patch randomly I may crash if I use siege
7. Screwed up server-client synchronization, i.e. I'm running around doing things near full health on my screen and suddenly the server reports I was dead
8. Oil pours through walls and doors
9. Place a new piece of siege that no one can use (including yourself)
10. Still sometimes randomly my horse de-spwans when I'm ridding him
The list goes on and on... When it comes to priorities and problems the devs are in fantasy land that, over time leads to a games downfall.Edited by maxilaub17_ESO on 3 June 2014 17:061 -
