unplayable lag NA wabbajack, every night

so after about 6pm est, wabbajack gets unplayable lag, and not just in big battles, yesterday I was fighting around maybe 12 people at most, and my powers would hardly work. It is really unplayable and needs to be addressed. I play ESO for the PvP and it seems like that has really been destroyed by what ever has changed.

it was even on low population times, the only times I saw lag like this before was when the servers were all locked on each side.

it frustrated me to the point where there was no reason to play the game.

as it stands with the other PvP glitches like caltrops, I doubt this will be fixed by next billing cycle, so there really is zero reason for any PvP people to play this game any more.

way to *** the game up zenimax, It makes me think your guys goal is just to demolish the player base as quick as possible.

Just in case the ZOS developers incorrectly think we're talking about 900ms ping times, we're not. It has nothing to do with ping times. It is absolutely server side.

When we get lag in Wabbajack, we get 15-30 second ability activation times, or even 60+ seconds. That's for one ability to actually activate.

When it happens, everyone in the campaign gets it. This is totally unrelated to each player's machine. It is without any question whatsoever server side.

Bolt Escape (both morphs) bugs now and you have to log out and back in to get it to work again (animation triggers but the character does not move).
Healing, even instant heals, puts the player into "combat" for 5 to 10 minutes, preventing mounting. Please get rid of the hated "out of combat" requirement for mounting. It serves no purpose since there are already significant risks associated with being mounted in combat. Healers everywhere absolutely despise ZOS for this dreadful mechanic.
Unbreakable stuns from npc guards and player shield charges. All stuns need to be breakable with the follow-up immunity.
All snares need a follow-up immunity once broken.

PvP is your baby, ZOS. These problems are not minor

I have to agree, also on wabbajack and seen a lot of these posts. the Wabbajack Lag is worse then before. It seems after every patch we have lag spikes, they get fixed then they come back again.

I agree with everything people are saying here. Zen has ruined PvP for now at least. I stopped logging in once I figured out the patch moved it from laggy and bugged but playable to laggy and bugged and broken.

But this quote does remind me of something "fun" that came out of all of it. Before I knew what was going on the lag was so bad I would try to enter a keep's door by pressing 'e', nothing would happen, so pressed it again... and again...and again... It made me LOL as I then watched my character enter and leave and enter and leave and...

I usually play on lower pop servers and encounter no lag at all on those, aside from a rare lag spike every now and then.

But occasionally I guest on Wabba for AP farming and I really can't say I have noticed lag there.
Unless by some miracle I always manage to dodge it, I usually play close to the population cap.

For those of you who are finding it impossible to play on Wabba I would suggest moving to another Campaign, at least guesting there until your issue is resolved.

i have to agree..sometimes its press hide and wait 5 seconds..other times I think I dont hit cntrl and hit it again and go from hide back into being seen..and I die. More than 5 enemies surround me and pressing an ultimate is a joke..no Im not stunned yes its lit up..I press U 5-10 times and it goes off right as I die..stupid lag.

it is not my cpu, its server lag, there is a big difference.... I am not the 1st person to post about this either....

its unplayable at times, way worse then beta ever was.

changing servers wont matter, this happens at low pop times, you all dont play as much as I do, that is pretty clear or you would have a clue about the situation.

I know i was saying that is what they have told me EVERY time i send a report. they are blind and clueless as *** and this game will die because of it.

I mentioned this on another thread but sill say it here. Last night i was in a guild group of about 16, approx 7pm ESt time on Wabbajack and it was beautiful. No lag at all. One guy kept getting dc'd but the rest of us were fine.....for about an hour.

Then it started again. Came to a point we all stopped moving. Everyone in my group was having the same problem so it couldn't be client side. We thought we were gonna see another Cyrodil crash then rollback but it eventually started moving again.

Someone kill he lag monster!

This is server-side, it's frequent and it makes Wabbajack unplayable at times.

It's not on the players' end. I am usually grouped with two to three guildies on Mumble, all of whom live in different parts of the US. We experience identical lag at identical times. It also appears that our opponents suffer from it in equal, simultaneous portions.

Seven+ second delays to switch weapon sets or dismount are common. It happens near zergs, and it happens when three of us are alone crossing lightly populated parts of the map.

And just for kicks, my specs include a I7-4770k, a SSD and an NVidia GTX 780, with all drivers kept current.

We apologize you are having trouble with the skill delay implemented in the latest patch as well as presumable server lag. We understand how frustrating this can be, having to halt your progression. Recently from the patch update we have received reports of players having issues similar to this. There are several reasons why this might occur.

Although this is quite rhetorical, lag errors can also be caused by graphical errors or server over load.

To test whether the problem is a graphical error, log into a secondary character and then press Esc, which brings up the Options menu. On that menu select Graphic Options. Under Presets select Low. After that, log back into your main character. The lower graphics may enable you to log into your main character. You can then move your graphical settings back.

If your problem is due to a server error, you may be experiencing long load times whenever you try to log in to the game or move from one region to the next. Please check the Service Alerts on our support web site for the latest updates on the game. We will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

At this moment there is not a current solution, as our team is just being made aware of the issue. The developmental team will investigate further and upon finding a solution will upload in the following patch. Yeah originally I was planning on leveling through pvp but because my home (wabbajack) is so laggy when I play I just decided to do pve facepalm. I experience this lag about every night and once it starts only gets worse. Definately server side because everyone in the call gets it.

The worst part is the servers have handled more than this before. Which means you either pulled servers from pvp campaigns or released yet another fatal bug in one of your updates. I was rooting for you ZoS. I was hoping you guys would pull off a great launch and service for this game. Unfortunately you have not. You are failing to address major issues in this game and running out of time. You are going to lose a lot of players very quickly now. Or if it gets your attention more... You are going to lose a lot of money very soon.

same 2 days ago we were on Volendurg and there was almost no one in zone so rather than take empty keeps , we decided to do a few dung runs , for shards

we had around 12 of us and at times in the dungeons the lag would be so bad some of us crashed but everyone there had it , and we are all over the US and a couple in south America ,
it`s not the PC it has to be on their end and it`s been most noticable since the last big patch last week

Last night (around ... 7-8 EST I would guess)??

My AD team in Wabba was getting reinforcements in to Fort Ash (I think) as we were getting hammered by DC.

So, I transitus travel to Nickel... lag... run lag, door lag, everyone teleports around and treadmills for a bit - this goes on for a few minutes until BOOM, 'unknown error' and loading screen, which I assume was because someone joined/left my group of 15+. At this point I've basically assumed we lost the keep.

I groan in frustration, load 'er up again. Guess what?? I'm still at the Elsewyr gate.
And Fort Ash is still ours. Rollback for the win!!

In all seriousness though: lag was fine in the morning. Small groups (<12) seem to behave fine. Soon as the group reaches a certain size, we get join/leave lag/dc. And as soon as it gets around evening (6+pm EST), everything everywhere turns into a slideshow.

I never get any lag in Dawnbreaker, but it is an AD-controlled ghost town.

I think there looking in the wrong place trying to fix this with software patches. It is most likely a hardware issue as none of the other campaigns have the problem even at the rare times when they hit high pop.

It's not only on NA wabbajack, it's the same on EU Auriels bow. Whenever the campaign gets medium pupulation all hell breaks loose. Organised group pvp is just ridiculous with every ability or action lagging from 10 to 30 seconds.
All of this plus the constant group members crashing, fps drops whenever you invite more than 15-20 people to your group, random loading screens and non-interactive doors makes we wonder why i keep paying for this stupid crap for 2 weeks now
