When to craft legendary?

So, I'm a bit of a slow leveler because I'm a completionist (and don't have as much time due to work, etc.). I don't PvP much, but love PvE. I'm now VR5, and taking my time. I have enough mats for a legendary piece of gear. I know many will say to wait until you reach max level (which makes sense). But here's the thing - I probably won't reach max level before they increase it again (I could be wrong on that but I doubt it). Anyone else in a similar position? What are you doing? How common are legendary mats at higher levels? Thoughts?

Like you, I have been stockpiling the legendary materials, granted, I don't level as fast as you (only VR1)... I am also an Altaholic as well as a bit of a completionist... every time I get to the point of making the next item and upgrading it to that vaunted "Legendary" status... I decide to wait until next time...

I figure I will wait until I feel like it, then make the Legendary Piece (and blow it up with 90/100% chance... did I forget to point out I seen to have runs of bad luck?)

LOL - I hear ya. I always do 100% now - lost way too many mats "gambling" when I was at lower levels.

i crafted my first legendary set at vr1, after that i've been doing epic sets every 2 or 3 levels. gonna do my next legendary at vr12. i am v9 atm.

Just do it now if it makes you feel better. If you are a completionist you will probably have the legendary mats back or enough gold to buy them when you reach vr10-12-14 whatever. I have 81 dreugh waxes, im not using them because i dont need to. legandary gear gives slightly bigger stats and changes gear color so...

I've not had much luck legendary wise Tempers so been holding off. At best I could do 2-3 pieces. So will wait a while yet.

I haven't crafted any legendary pieces yet, I'm waiting until I have enough Dreugh Wax collected to make a full set with a 100% chance on each piece. I don't expect that I'll have collected that many until I'm VR12 though. I might make my first legendary weapons sooner than that, maybe VR9 or 10. Currently I'm VR6 and have purple weapons, helm, chest and legs. Blue hands, feet, belt and shoulders. Green jewelry.

I made my first legendary axe at level 16. Why? Because i could.

I used it until i got to the lower 20 levels and then gave it away.
