Research que

We should be able to throw items into a window, that serves as a research que. That way, traits can continue to be researched while we are away for the day =).

If you're serious about research then 24 missed isn't anything ultimately.
Assuming you're in the game for the long run it's going to be months of time invested any way.

Yeah I get that. I just hate when I log on and I've missed X amount of hours that could have been spent researching =)

Understandable, they could try some kind of queue system like EVE Online where you can queue research but only upto so many hours worth in the queue.

EVE Online is 24 hours but that's a more desperate need for skills than simple research. Maybe something like six hours for ESO? So if your research is going to finish in the next six hours you can queue the next item you want, this way you wouldn't have people queuing days, or weeks of research but it would let people who wake up in the mornings with only two hours left a chance to queue the next item while they head out for work, school etc.

I like the queue idea. If only because when you have multiple professsions and all of them are getting near the last few things in each item, it starts to REAALLLLY drag out for when an item slot even opens up, a small queue would eliminate the needs to be constantly checking each bench and timer to get an idea of when I need to do the next one. It could even just be like 3 items deep or something and I'd be a happy camper. Don't need a massive endless queue list or anything.

Neverwinter allows queue of crafting outside the game through portal, pretty brilliant in my opinion. They even allow overflow bags so that your stuff will land in your inventory. If Neverwinter was not Pay 2 Win, I would play that more often,

This is a brilliant idea, it's common sense to me. I have 4 characters and it's hard to keep track of who is researching what and when it ends. I'm glad the game tells me when something has ended when I log in though. Now if it didn't take a week to research 1 item....
