I really don't want to support ANY countermeasure that would hit PLAYERS as well - that's the case with ALL Zenimax' changes so far - they don't make changes delicate enough, or thought through, just quick dirty changes that so far only hurt PLAYERS BADLY and merely slowed down bots a little.
Well, this is depressing. I was hoping to find that I was doing something wrong or that there was some fixable problem, but no, my failure to find resources is just what I feared.I have been noticing the click E but nothing happens problem which was irritating enough, then there was the click and it just disappears problem. Both of those I kind of attributed to bugs though I haven't reported them. I suppose that I should.
The thing that is really bothering me though is the total lack of resources. Yesterday, I was in both Khenarthi's Roost and Auridon. It was the middle of the day and things were very quiet so I figured it was a good time to go gathering. I had a bot snatch something from in front of me once but mostly what I found was nothing nowhere. I found a couple of jute, no branches, no reagents and was completely surprised when I actually collected a rune. I saw a couple of iron nodes but am not doing blacksmithing.
I'm very low level and just need basic beginner mats, nothing really special but, I wish the containers also had crafting mats because I do still manage to find barrels and such with food.
Well my crafter is low level but she makes equipment for my main battle character which is closing in on level 50. My main character can supply the crafting items with the exception of the tempers. Crafting on a low level character was always viable throughout the development of this game and changing it midstream would be pretty disappointing. The best solution is to fix the frigging bots not punish paying players for using a current game mechanic and leveling a crafter separate from a battle toon.
