Please help! Learning the streaming/game video making, tips and pointers please!

Hello I am new to the streaming video games field and finally got a microphone so I can upload videos online. I'm still very new to this. Any tips and pointers. Here is my first ever game-play walk-through video and I chose ESO. Please help me to know what I did well and what I could do better. Either here or on the video itself. Thanks, any tips or even criticisms can help. Sincerely, a humble noob

Video's too long. And I do suggest figuring out some basics along with setting a target topic before doing the recording, else one may feel like they're wasting their time watching.

Overall, great graphics, decent voice (gotta keep the pitch lower IMHO), try to be more focused.

No it's not that

I am really new at this and if you notice views isn't the thing. It's not even monetized, I'm doing this for fun. If you see on my channel I have a gold glitch from skyrim back when it first came out and it got over 750,000 views but I never monetized it. I've just always wanted to try streaming/video gameplay videos and I figured a forum thread for my first attempt could go a long way.

Good point too. Place seems more empty than when I played beta. Just started live this last week.

From an accountant point of view, you have to monetise it. You're an idiot not to.

Why wouldnt it be ok to ask for comments, and why is it bad to try and get viewers?

Gosh I love the graphics.

I'd prefer more interaction during the NPC dialogues, like comment on what they say or answer them creatively. But I suggest skipping parts of the dialogues, only to listen to funny ones. And doing stupid stuff, I jumped off the map cause he was so boring. Comment more on the environment/settings/items/characters, use some emotes, tell us about your build when you're walking about, or even what's been really nice/stupid in the game?

Anyways, I like it that you don't already know what's in store for you. Can't wait to see your response further down this quest line. Do the fighters and mages too (: main is boring.

Just my two Septims.

Yeah did that soon after for my other two characters in the Aldmeri and Ebonheart, I think that's a nice touch

It is, don't get me wrong, I love the Covenant, but the Covenant has the worst rabbit hole. Haha.

Newest episode, I implemented more talking throughout and more interacting. I hadn't yet personally responded to the NPC's narration but will do so in the next video. What else could I improve upon

So much better.

You have your clear objective.
You comment on the environment.
You show things relative to your objective.

Here's what I notice from popular gaming streams.

1. They do narration after they record the video. To add in more thoughtful comments; gives them the ability to cut short the delay between their comments. They cut the taking a breath before next comment to make it more compressed with interactions. They've been through the quest before hand and are able to express better their emotions during the quest and could add some thoughts of the aftermath.
2. They add links to previous episodes so they don't have to explain what they've done before the current episode. It also grants viewers a chance to explore your episodes when they love the work.

I love it. You're amazing in adapting and improvising. Keep up the good work! Host a site on yahoo when you have more videos, maybe put in a forum and make a strong guild for your loyal viewers so you could play with them (:

Whatever I propose is just my thoughts. Stay true to your style, take what you think is viable by your own means. You'll have a loyal viewer base over time. I like your style, and I'm sure you love it as well. Don't lose it and don't give in to trends.

3. They have personalised trademark intro and end credits. It's a must have to make your own trademark and logo. Trademark opening soundtrack is a must. Check our MxR videos for a clear picture (: You'll figure it out.
