What happened to the EU campaigns?

Seriously, I forsaw people leaving the game because of the abysmall state it is in, but surely like 65% of the initial players must've already left now? One of the best balanced EU campaigns, Chrysamere, is nearly dead and boring every night and even the highest pop campaign, Auriels bow is on medium tops.

I really love this games pvp if it is fixed and have never wanted a game to succeed this badly since Warhammer Online... Please ZOS make it happen. Because right now when there is allmost never anything going on except the organized EP groups painting the zone red, Im starting to feel depressed.

This was less apparent in WAR because the zones were a lot smaller so people would allways bump into each other for pvp, but this game requires a *** load of people to make the pvp any fun. And its NOT happening anymore.

I think it is because allot of people got memory leak issues after craglorn patch (which make you crash after a certain period), there is still lots of lag when multiple raids clash together, which puts off people too.

Also ye, people leaving cause dissapointed in balance, variety etc.

Horrible lag and new content, mostly...

I'm much less active in cyrodiil myself atm, hoping for a lag fix soon.

I can cope with unbalanced classes, I can cope with zergs, I cannot cope with massive lag, sometimes from people just joining/leaving a large group!! or infinite loading screens and *** engine performance for no other reason than lazy *** programming. The Hero engine may have been modified a lot for this game but we can still see its foul stench from SWTOR days, as in the ground GROWING as we run. Getting a bit annoyed now. Oh yeh and Vet Ranks are the most boring thing ever in an mmo, which is saying something as Ive played FF online!

Once i hit top level I dont want to then be forced to do every single quest just to get a level playing field with those who can afford to play 18 hours a day or the ones crazy enough to cope with, a fuckload of MORE quests, yeh some of the story elements in the quests now and then are good, some are fun, BUT NOT THE 600th *** QUEST.

Game needs another way of making VR exp, Would much prefer it if PVP gave a LOT of VR exp, i know they just increased it but its still pathetic.

Let us be rewarded for skill, not just for those who can handle the quest grind. There is no fun or skill involved in this, its a war of attrition and feels like work, which is the last thing we want to do after a day at work

I believe the population meters that show next to campaign names in-game are somehow bugged.

Reason being, the change from some of them being full/full/full to empty happened overnight, after one of the server downtimes.

So either the whole population made the decision to quit the game at exactly the same time, or the population meters are broken.

I was about to mention this myself.

Ever since Craglorn the campaigns are showing low pop everywhere - except for the occasional 'blip' in Ariel's Bow - up to medium at times.

I dunno - the PvP feels empty, in beta we had hundreds involved in fights - now 20 is a BIG zerg.
It might be something to do with the fact that no-one dares group in case it triggers DCs but, well, it feels empty.

EDIT - Where we gonna go? I need my PvP.

I haven't been in pvp for a while because I simply can't handle the lag. Since craglorn I am lagging as mad and that is Pve. So I can only imagine the PvP lag I will experience. I will stay away from this until tehy fixed the lag. Or moved the server to the EU. I also know from chat that a lot of PvP players from my guild are not going to cyrodill anymore due to the lag. It is just annoying if you know you can beat the other player but then the game lags out (up to 10s) and you find yourself dead.

This happened mostly due to 3 reasons.
-massive lag in PVP since Craglron release
-craglorn content has been upped to VR5, which is why everyone gets owned by NPC hitting like a truck. The balance buff that players get when entering cyrodil hasnt been scaled and increased to VR5, but the hp and dmg of NPC has been. This basically means every non VR player usually gets 1-3 shooted by any npc, so they just stopped playing and everyone else is kind of bored of doing pve in pvp. Taking a keep or any other strategic location that is defended by NPC's has become 3-4 times harder than before.
-last but not least, Mercenaries. If at lvl 50 they were ok and sometimes used, at VR5 lvl everyone uses them and they are extreme strong and CHEAP to buy.

Right now easiest way to make any pvp points, is to go defend a keep, summon a bunch of mercenaries and they will show you in points by killing everyone.
