1. Does the Harness Magicka / Sun Shield combo work?

2. Weapon enchant / trait? I’ve been using +armor/sr and reduce target power enchant.

3. Jewelry enchants: all block reduction? armor? …?

4. Mundus Stone?

i don't want to be negative but templar tanks are dead until further notice grab a healing staff and bow.

i kid you not when i was talking to a customer service rep he told me to level with a bow LOL

Well let's wait for the next "I'm fine with my templar VR12 I use resto/destro Staff I don't see the problem all templars talk about, they're just whining little kids".
This forum is full of templars explaining how they get destroyed in high level PvE, especially the ones who used the /now dead/ Biting Jabs, but still no reaction from Zenimax, out of "we'll give you a higher magicka cost next time instead of the global cooldown we gave you without warning anyone in the patch notes, but we don't know when, cause you know we got other stuff to do ...".

1:Sun shield just removes mackika regen, all other sources of magicka gaining works. I highly recommed magicka furnace set tho. 10% mana back when u get hit(block counts) every 5 sec is pretty damn good even if the set is VR1(loosing marginal 60 stat points compared to VR12 gear aint that big of a deal tbh).

2:I use the same as you, pretty much haven't found anything "better". Got a weap with crit and fire dmg aswell if the situation means burn the boss down.

3: Jewelery is taken up by magicka furnace. If not, regen untill cap then block. Your sunshield should work in unison with block.

4: Its realy up to you. Ive tanked quite alot, and the philosophy has always been, take as little damage as possible and deal as much as possible in the same time. Hence i went with the Thief stone. This might change tho.

5:biting jabs is a bad tanking ability exept for trash.....

I don't get how the set drops work like Magicka Furnace, I find a crap ton of warlock/shrouded/dragonguard but I never see the other VR1 set pieces drop like furnace/kyne's/etc.

go to craglorn. hope fully you have trained your healing abilities and restostaff otherwise youl have a hard time finding a group but if you have a group you are flooded with furnace, kynes etc.

I remember trying to go to Craglorn and attacked a random enemy and 50 things appeared as I attacked it so I was like, nope!

Templar tanks suck.

Switch to resto/destro or don't bother playing a templar.
