Should we be allowed to pay Zenimax to change our Race or Racial Passives?

I know all the hate that I and my beliefs are going to receive by posting this message. Yes I planned my character before hand big time. Yes, it wasn't until VR ranks that it dawned on me that melee was underpowered. No, I do not have the spare free time to level ANOTHER Sorc as an Altmer.

Racial passives are just WAY too powerful for there to be no way to change them. Maybe you disagree with my way of playing games, but I strive to min-max to the point where I would be shocked if anyone is out playing me, be it heals, DPS, tanking, or PVP. This is always how I have played games, be they single or multiplayer. I will admit this goal has become quite difficult lately with much greater real life responsibility, aka growing up, aka wife/house/kids. I do still try to do the most I can with the limited time I have.

Unfortunately for me, my brilliant idea of Khajit having extra crit and Sorc skill Critical Surge didn't work out the way I had hoped. Also unfortunately for me, I waited until well into VR levels to really test my DPS and compare to what others were getting with ranged magicka builds. Sure, I'm doing alright but with the addition of Time Trials giving greater rewards to the top teams, my Khajit Sorc will always be a red headed step child. Bottom line is, I can never do the same DPS potential as a Khajit melee Sorc (or Khajit ranged Sorc) as a Altmer ranged Sorc.

I still enjoy the game very much, but most MMOs for me the real game started at max level and I will most likely quit before or at max level. I understand if you personally do not want to change your race (or passives), but what harm is there in allowing myself and any others who wish it, to PAY Zenimax to change our race (or passives). More money for the developers of your MMO. More people to play with who would otherwise quit, such as myself. More competition for those who were lucky enough to figure out the perfect race during early release.

Anyways, you stay classy General Discussion forums.

Obviously for the overall tally of Yay or Nay on this poll, options 1 and 2 will be combined as Yay and option 3 will be Nay.

This would promote jumping on FoTM builds. You can always reroll if it's a huge problem, but I think you're in the minority anyway. I also understand that you want to min-max, but the difference is not nearly as great as you make it out to be. I expect time trials to be more about good positioning and timing of an optimal set of skills than having an extra 6% elemental damage anyway. I guess if two people have the same exact setup and manage to make the same exact moves in every fight, and every fight somehow plays out the exact same way, that 6% would matter, but otherwise you shouldn't be so worried about it.

I extremely regret rolling my sorc as a Nord, he would have been much better as a Dark elf, their racials are so much better. However, I didn't realize it until Vet-4 or 5, so I am very much for a race change option.
