shield bash and crescent sweep exploit?

I was recently fighting in cyrodiil and I observed a player doing unimaginable amounts of damage with the 2 above attacks. by unimaginable i mean in the death recap on shield bash i was taking between 2500-4000 hp of damage in one shot. With crescent sweep I notice anywhere between 3000-10,000 damage, I also observed the player using crescent sweep to 1-shot 5+ mage mercenaries. It was pretty unbelievable, especially since I took the time just to watch the guy fighting, and it seemed he used no other skills, or potions or anything like that before using shield bash or crescent sweep for this amazing amount of damage.
Has anyone else seen this in the game? Does anyone know what the exploit is, if it is an exploit? I'd like to report it, but not having used either skill, I don't have any idea what is going on there. All I know is that with 2400 hp, 1800 magic res, and 1200 armor, that skill goes through me like a hot knife through butter.

Backlash (Power of the Light Morph) caps at around 1650 damage so doubtful its anything to do with that.Neither of these abilities do that sort of damage so OP is either exaggerating how fast this is happening or maybe there is an exploit.
What seems more likely is someone is using the ultimate reduction gear to spam Crescent sweep repeatedly at 50 ultimate a go. If they happened to also be an Emperor that would mean they could spam it at effectively 20 ultimate a go and if they hit enough people it would be back up instantly turning them into a "helicopter of doom".Edited by Locke_ESO on 29 May 2014 04:280 -

Fuzzylumpkins✭✭✭✭I could tell you how this works it is the same re-write exploiters use to achieve 50 hits in 3 seconds but then ZOS would have to ban my account and hide my body so I could never speak of it again.
It is a hack. It is a very easy open rewrite and aside from the other holes in the game just adds to the feeling it is a console game and some have access to a game shark while the rest ask >.> what do!??0 -

That is fine fuzzy, but since the person hits everyone with the same range of damage, none of it being under 3500, I'm fairly sure even had I resisted, it wouldn't have mattered

Evandus✭✭✭✭On the surface it looks like one of the Ultimate hacks some cheaters are using. Not enough information though to be certain. Someone should capture them on FRAPS or something similar. The rate at which they are getting that off is key to the discussion.0 -

That would probably work out well, recording it. If it turns out that the rate the person is generating ultimate doesn't coincide with game mechanics - then there is no question of cheating. It'd be confirmed.
Putting that up privately on something like you tube, and then linking to it becomes something that is actionable immediately.

quinton0227b14_ESOSoul ShrivenThe biggest issue wasn't necessarily with the ultimate generated, it was the exceptional amount of damage being done in 1 shot, now, if it is generating enough ultimate to fire the skill off, then generating more and firing again in less than a second, perhaps, but i never saw anything that indicated multiple shots being fired at once. Also, from everything i've seen in my campaign, there is only 1 person doing this.0
